Maldonado is 39, a over the hill mma fighter, had fedor down & in trouble early, got blown out by miocic in 1 rd. So he fought top guys in mma. Currently he's a WGAF-light heavy Champion, sorry fight night champion, russian mma organisation, lost his belt in may. Who cares.

To the Contrary his boxing record is a sad one to say the least. Guys brought in from the sidewalk to be put away with the first punch to pad up a/any record. Guess he's a kind of star in brazil/south america so maybe there it generates some interest to put him in against rivas who if not knock him out, will outbox him.

How this is considered a move up for the colombian is ???

Oscar's family and friends might do if they have nothing else to do. Can't imagine Fabio's will want to watch this beating.

I hope then for the sake of Oscar's family and friends, that this outing is considerably more of a spectacle than his last.
