Third Tiers, Second Tiers, and Journeymen

Some of your favorites from these three talent pools? Not included in this discussion trialhorses and gatekeepers. Just the bottom three.

Other than the legendary Eric Crumble (0-31) I'd say my favorite third tier is actually a man I was supposed to fight but it's never been arranged and that's Andrew Hartley (2-28). Also like Brian Strege (0-3) and Jason McClure (1-9) and a few others who I have become friends with over the years.

As for second tier fighters, I'd probably say the one who stands out to me because we used to be good friends was Brian Paul--- he was similar in record and pedigree to someone like Mitch Rose who had a good amateur pedigree but a pretty bad pro record, but once in a blue moon wins a match that's unexpected.

As for journeymen, I have alot of favorites like Stacy Goodson. Everett Bigfoot Martin was always a household favorite at home when I was a kid. And of course "Gypsy" John Fury.

For those who don't understand the criteria of the levels, here's a short breakdown: 3rd Tiers almost always have no losses (the absolute lowest level) while 2nd Tiers have a mix of wins and draws though they are oftentimes losers--- Journeymen can work a little bit with almost anyone regardless of level, and usually have a .500 record or something similar to that (ie, 10-5 or 5-4 or 20-14, etc).

Well that makes no sense whatsoever. How can 10-5 and 5-4 both be a ".500 record"?

Third tier fighters almost always have no losses??
