Ffs it's cluttering up the damned forum with these noobs and trolls... This is the kind of thing Zelenoff used to do what he frequented this site (ie, Valuev vs Pacquiao) and I'm sick of this becoming the norm.

If you don't like them, don't post in them. Maybe you've got control issues.prewarboxing wrote: ↑14 Nov 2018, 15:56Because it's getting tedious

Re: Priime Joe Frazier vs Prime Joe Louis
I have no control issues whatsoever. I just get bored with these endless what if threads. I actually am interested in boxing history but this forum, despite its name, is becoming less and less the place to come for it. Sorry if we disagree on this issue, I mean no offence, but I am entitled to my opinion.

Yes, but who wins? Frazier or Louis? I think style wise, Frazier is all wrong for Louis, prewarboxing wrote: ↑14 Nov 2018, 16:02 I have no control issues whatsoever. Don't wanna fall out old bean! But I must say that I wish that there was more debate about the relative strengths and weaknesses of a particular boxer without the endless hypothetical matchups. Occasionally they can be interesting but this forum is becoming overrun with them. As I said in another of these threads, someone recently put up a post about Dan Creedon and it attracted no interest at all, apart from one cheap response about his ring attire. I just wish there was more real history on here rather than Tyson Fury versus Ezzard Charles. It is such a shame as there are some knowledgeable people on here.
Anyway, whateva!

Re: Prime Joe Frazier vs Prime Joe Louis
I disagree, the prime "Brown Bomber" Joe Louis would decision "Smokin" Joe Frazier behind his powerful left jabs and heavy combinations in 15 rounds despite Frazier pressuring him. The prime Louis would be deadly in a rematch that you should not ignore and stop Frazier in 12 rounds as "Smokin" Joe would be the biggest resume win on Louis' career if they fought in the same era.
Re: Prime Joe Frazier vs Prime Joe Louis
I'd pick Smokin' Joe, cause Louis, despite his skills, technique and more well-rounded style, was caught for quite some amount of times. Frazier wasn't just an aggressive brawler, his offensive skills were high enough to deliver shots to the best guys out there. So I think, Frazier would have been able to stop Louis.

Slow down there junior.....fantasy fights are a norm in this forum, Not sure what you're ranting about....even the absurd is tolerated......and this is hardly a controversial "what if".
