Gorman has been waiting for this matchup by the looks of it and it being ordered is great for him.
Don't see Joyce or Hughie taking it for British but it's against a fairly respected opponent so would actually do them good on an international scale as both are better than many others who'd they'd be facing elsewhere.
I don't see why Hughie and his team would vacate to turn that down. Surely there will be some interest with pretty big bids from several promoters to put that fight on. Hughie might be like watching paint dry but Joyce would make it an interesting affair I think. I reckon promoters from BT, Channel 5 and Sky would all stick bids in.

I just read this on Sky Sports.
Joyce/Fury isn’t happening.
Joyce might want it but Hughie wouldn’t want another L.
I thought Hughie already vacated.
Dubois vs. Gorman is easy to make but I doubt FW wants to make it already.
Yeah i can't imagine anyone will want to face Joyce for the British title unfortunately. Only people who would take it i don't think Joyce would bother wasting time fighting.
And unfortunately i think Warren wants to try milk Dubois v Gorman for years. If it's not made soon i can imagine Gorman looking elsewhere because he wants the fight more than Dubois and Warren it seems.

This would be a great fight for PBC to debut on UK TV...

fw probably wanted to wait a bit longer to do dubois v Gorman but it should happen both are so young a loss doesn't matter and probably wont be the last time they fight either
With Joyce signing with Heyman I can't see Joyce staying around the British heavyweight scene. Time is of the essence. The goal in mind is matching Joyce against American heavyweights. So can't see Joyce/Fury happening even though that'd be great for Hughie.
British heavyweight banger Joe Joyce is embracing a potential fight with Hughie Fury, who is the cousin of former unified champion Tyson Fury.
The British Boxing Board of Control has ordered the heavyweight bout, directing Fury to defend his British title against Joyce. The purse bid is scheduled for December 12.
Joyce, who holds the Commonwealth title, will see action on the Wilder-Fury pay-per-view undercard, when he faces veteran Joe Hanks.
"Listen, I respect Hughie, I consider him and [his father] Peter a friend to me, but this is a business," Joyce told Sky Sports.
"I am top 10 in the WBA, but I think this is a fight the fans would want to see, and I am happy to challenge Hughie for the title and give the fans an exciting fight."
Joyce, an Olympic silver medalist, is going to push for a "big fight" in early 2019.
