Crawford. Spence could pass him eventually, but a head-to-head clash is unlikely any time soon.

Garcia could make a strong case by beating Lomachenko. Unfortunately he is moving UP to face Spence, with little chance for victory. Of course beating Spence would put Mikey above TC too, but it is unrealistic to expect that.

Pretty close between Mikey and Crawford in a p4p sense, but Crawford being a favorite H2H because of his size takes it. They're both of the USA's best boxers currently.

I’ve chosen Mikey for his record. I pray Bud finally takes a proper interesting fight.

No votes for Wilder. A little bit strange.

I did not vote, but if I have to choose - Spence. Crawford's resume is better, undoubtedly, but I feel that Spence would beat Crawford.

ya id say crawford, but it might be spence. i defo understand why theres no votes for wilder, his power and speed alone make him a world class fighter but there are some talents in other divisions who i think are clearly a step above p4p

He is HW, all my friends think that HW champion is worth as all other champions together. Do I agree ? 80 % - yes.

I love Wilder, but he is by no means the best American fighter out there. No surprise on zero votes.

I have been watching boxing since 1970, and, yes, I prefer to watch HWs. I don't think this is a sin. The HW champion is the absolute champion in the same time.
Yes, I think that p4p lists without HWs can not be good.
I don't want to be misunderstood, I like boxing, generally speaking, but HW is HW.

The thread title asks for “the best active boxer from the USA.” It does not ask who would win in the ring vs everyone else.

There are several superior boxers to Wilder.

The HW div has been a disgrace for most of this millennium.

Liking HWs and being deluded enough to rate their boxing skills superior to others based on their success at HW are separate issues.

Wilder has a significant distance to go to be the best boxer in America. Legit victories over Fury and AJ would cover most of that distance.
