Ali Eren Demirezen vs. Izu Ugonoh - OFF

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Tiger Promotions, headed by former WBO light heavyweight king Dariusz Michalczewski, will stage its inaugural show on December 8 in Gdansk, Poland.

It´s a co-promotion with EC Boxing, based in Hamburg, Germany, and features some quite interesting heavyweight fights.

On top WBO Euro king Ali Eren Demirezen, 10-0, defends the title against Izuagbe Ugonoh, 18-1, and veteran Mariusz Wach, 33-3, is in against prospect Agron Skamici, 14-0. Michalczewski will also step into the ring in an exhibition.

Other Euro News

Super lightweight prospect Enock Poulsen, 8-0 and IBF Youth champ, takes on Spaniard Kevin Dotel, 13-3 and reigning IBF Int´l champ at welterweight, November 24 in Copenhagen.

It´s a tough fight for Poulsen, who comes in off a solid win over teak tough Frenchman Renald Garrido.

Also on the bill is WBC cruiserweight champ Detlef Rossing, 8-0, who defends the title against Argentinian Miguel Angel "El Verdugo" Peralta, 9-0. Rossing is trained by Sherman Williams, who is back in Denmark. Headling the show is Jeppe Morell vs Dimitri Chudinov.

Agon Sports have signed up middleweight Bjoern Schicke, 12-0. Schiche turned pro in 2015 and is trained by former EBU champ Michel Trabant. As for Agon´s next promotion date and site will be announced soon.

Good fight, nice match-up. Competitive. The turk is a bull, don't see him getting knocked out, but izu should outbox him to make good for his stupid loss against breazeale where got careless & caught. Demirezen can whack a bit too, so good fight.

The first I heard about this fight is that it's off. Ugonoh v Demirezen is a very appealing match-up in my view. Hope they get to re-instate it sometime.

i doubt it. at first it was postponed from december to march due to death of Andrzej Gmitruk who was a Izu trainer, no it's cancelled due to Michalczewski's conflict with tv station (They decided that they won't show this event on their main channel so Michalczewski was not intersted and decided to cancel the event). it was postponed to march but Izu's opponent was changed anyway - he had to face a guy who previously lost to Demirezen, 8-2 Sergiej Werwejko http://boxrec.com/en/boxer/746744
