Presumably he fought as an amateur before he turned professional in May 1951 at age 19 yrs.
( possibly under his real name, Michael Di Gianni)
If so who did he fight ?

Only fight I found of note was Mike DeJohn beat Joe Hudson (June 14. 1950) at Neahwa Park (Oneonta, NY).
