So it sounds like Naz will be making a return to fighting in Summer or late year after all. Pity it'll only be trying to fend off the burly inmates who will be trying to interfere with him!

I doubt very much that he could ever be a legit world champion again, but a comeback from the prince would definate'ly make for interesting viewing.

Have to say that it's very sad that a boxing great (in my eyes) goes to prison like that, but it is what he deserves I'm afraid. Like someone above said though, he'll be out for Christmas, looking at the size of him, leaving court, he wont be back in the ring!

I can well see Naz getting in some scraps in Jail, he's asian, so will attract attention from the racist idiot groups, and will probably get drawn into the asian gang element in there, plus he's cocky, and probably will end up chinning someone.

Of course, this is all mere speculation, but I wouldn't rely on him getting time off for good behaviour, he's going to attract a huge amount of attention in jail, but it depends which Jail they send him to, it could be a big man's prison full of hard nuts, or it could be one of those open prisons where they send embezellers and fraudsters. Mate of mine did some time in an open prison, fornicator came out with a six pack and a blinding tan.

Yes, but however, apparently after sentence was pronounced, he did a flip out and over the dock, then danced between the two court baliff's as he was escorted him below the court, then jumped through a flaming paper hoop.

Most of the people I know who go to jail come out fitter cos it gets them off the drugs gives them non junk food and gives them the disiplin so there is nothing to do all day but work out. Admitedly Naz isn't a scag head so slightly different story but you get the drifft.

Proberbly deserved to do time although 15 months seams severe.

whoops of course, however, he will be viewed as Asian by most of the inmates. The people from the Yemen are not however all Arabs as such, as Yemen straddles Africa and Asia, there's quite a bit of south Asian and Black African blood in Yemen. However, I'm still wrong, he's an Arab, not that that is a very popular thing to be when surrounded by thick hardmen.
