Former lightweight world titlist Raymundo Beltran (35-8-1, 21 KOs), 37, of Phoenix, who said he'd consider retirement after losing his belt by decision in his first defense in front of his home crowd to Jose Pedraza on Aug. 25, plans to keep fighting. Manager Steve Feder told ESPN that Beltran’s return is being planned for a Top Rank Boxing on ESPN card in February or March. “No later than March for sure. Ray is very eager to return,” Feder said. “He was really dealing with some depression after that loss, but he’s far from done. (He) knows that he should have won that fight but you can’t rewrite the past. He desperately wants another title shot. He knows it’s an uphill climb but his whole career has been uphill.”

Re: Ray Beltran to Continue Boxing
Don’t see him winning a world title. Maybe just the extra cash.
His world title win was a farce too.
Also, he’s depressed after his loss.. who knows how he’ll come back from that.
