One more year and he will reach the top 15. He's a strong 6'5" heavy puncher, but still very green.

He's a slow, plodding one dimensional punching bag for any top 50 heavyweight.

An actual punching bag would be favored against most of the top 50 in this era.

He's also a sucker for a left hook counter over his slow right cross.

too early to say, but he's definitely got crazy power. And he has a presence about him that I bet installs fear into his opponents. Gonna be exciting to watch.

he is pretty impressive. So far shows all the qualities of a good HW. Some strong points would be the cumulative pop on those crazy fast combos for a HW... When he lets them go, it's top notch talent type of impressive. The ellipses on those combos are simply perfect... a sign a strong balance and hand skills. The way he throws the uppercuts too reminds me of a southpaw.

Needs work on the inside and on the straight punch arsenal.

Sick hands but needs major tightening on defense. Not sure if possible, if so it'd take years to convert someone of that stature. Wilder is still pretty bad in all areas but power and is a skinny looking 220 at most.

Really just seems a Magomed with more speed.

That was like a snuff film. Really hate those early career padding of record type fights.

True, he has potential, but he is progressing very slowly in terms of opposition. At this rate, it will take 2 years before he gets to the top 20... a lot can happen until then.

it gets pretty sucky as u move down the top 50, i can easily see him becoming top 50 , hes big and moves his hands somewhat decently and is experienced in the ams, that goes some way today even with all the other weaknesses

You're entitled to your opinion. He may get more formidable, but when I posted that reply, he wasn't impressing me. He's not a youngster at 29 so I'm not sure how much better he'll get. In another few fights, maybe he'll show me he's better. "Nonsense?" I think not. :TU:

Of course he can crack the top 50 in time, but he's not there now. At 29, he better move a bit faster if he wants to make noise in the division.

Well, Makhumudov has Jason Bergman in a couple of weeks...not a great test, but I guess we'll see...I'm far from convinced.

Gosh, just watched him. Oh boy he is slow! Power is nothing when your opponent beats you to the punch while your still throwing yours
Seriously though, there are some good fights for him I'm sure.
One or other of them Chinese blokes would be decent. It would be so slow you could drink to your heart's content and still follow the action.

Dude, who gives a flying crap about this stuff. Can’t you guys email each other or do this somewhere else? Honestly, a freaking 50th ranked Russian now? There has to be a Russian site you guys can migrate to already.
