Watch Collazo here.......

Post by ALI »

This is his fight with Edwin Cassiani from April 2002 where he suffered his only loss, by KO in round 3. Note, he has fought 12 times since this fight.

This is the only footage i have sen of Collazo, so i'm basing my opinion on it:

Hatton is going to tear this guy apart, he is tailor made for him, this fight will not go the distance, end off!

Collazo has been highly praised in the build up to this fight, and i was buying into it. After watching the above footage, he will have had to improve ten fold if he's even going to see the final bell!

I don't see what that is supposed to show.

As you said yourself, he has had 12 fights since then, 2 of which were world title fights which I have seen and he has improved a great deal. I have seen fighters better than Collazo struggle early in their career. Even in that fight I had Collazo winning everything and then he got caught with a peach of an uppercut but for me the referee stepped in WAY too early. He didn't give Collazo a chance to throw punches back. Plus the guy he was facing is a power puncher with 21 KO's in his 25 wins and most of those fights were under 10 rounds. I wouldn't look too much into this fight,

Instead, look at his fight with Gonzalez and that will show how I think he will fight against Hatton. It was in someones 1000th post thread here somewhere. He has quick hands and has good accuracy and shot picking.

collazo looks pretty thin and frail at the presser. but he's a few inches taller than hatton and i wonder how much bigger luis will look after rehydrating. this could be a bloody tough one
