John Muller - The Gorilla?

I have a photo of a white hope era (1908-1915) heavyweight who I believe was called John Muller (Mueller?) and nicknamed the Gorilla. When I looked him up the other day I found absolutely nothing about him, even in the Library of Congress' collection of old newspapers. Does anyone have anything on him? (Found nothing in Boxrec) I'm beginning to wonder if I made him up.
