It was interesting to hear Freddie Roach talking about Tyson's power in the southpaw stance. I wonder if he let something slip there. If I was Fury, I would be training in the southpaw stance too, Wilder struggled to land on Ortiz when he was moving and landing his jab and left hand quite well.

He does switch during his fights. It could confuse Wilder.

If Fury's really negative and looking to walk Wilder onto a shot, who's to say that Wilder won't be happy to win this on workrate?

It's not set in stone that Wilder needs a stoppage to avoid falling a mile behind on points, nor that he's willing to take risks if he feels he doesn't have to. If it reaches the halfway point and Wilder's been the busier in a fight with little of note, imagining that pattern following to the end isn't hard.

But I do find it hard not to imagine a descent into messiness at some point, and I foresee the fight ending soon after. I predict a boring fight that finishes with a moment of high drama. That's the bit I'm excited about.

Yeah I agree, I can see like a 115-110 with knockdowns sort of fight too. He'll also be the agressor and it's in america, those judges tend to lap that up.

He's done exceptionally well to lose that much weight in 12 months. It will make him lighter on his feet which he needs for his style of fighting but let's hope he's also conditioned

I wouldn't call Wilder a minor belt holder.. It's not like he has the IBO belt.

Formally you're right. I just call Wilder like that, cause he earned the shot based on beating no top competitors and was defending against other not worthy fighters. WBC kinda lost its value from my perspective.

Didn't the same happen to McGregor? If not Conor, it was definitely a fairly recent fight where the underdog closed right up over the last couple of days.

As for weights, I'll guess 225 for Wilder and 250 for Fury.
