Miller v. Pulev

Post by oogiebe »

I'd like to see the rest of the top 10 HW's go through some elimination fights, including maybe Miller v. Pulev. Any thoughts/comments while we wait for Wilder/Fury?

It’s pointless to discuss this fight since Miller and Pulev will both inevitably fight AJ within the next 18 months.

Kubrat is already one of Joshua’s mandatories and Jarrell will become one soon.

There won’t be an “elimination” tournament. we won’t see fights like the one you’re proposing until both men have tasted defeat to Joshua, where they’re in the rebuilding stage of their careers.

Probably not, but I did say I'd LIKE to see...it's never pointless to discuss on a discussion board. And besides, nothing is signed, last I looked.

You’re right, it’s harmless to discuss these things, but the scenario you’re proposing won’t reflect reality.

I’m not criticising you, but I have to express an honest opinion based on the readily-available real-world facts.
Thanks for saying that, but I wasn't disturbed by your first comment. Already we have Whyte/Chisora and Wilder/Fury, We'll see if AJ fights both or one of them during 2019. He certainly hasn't inked anyone for a scheduled defense in April 2019.

It's a pointless fight because Pulev wins this one easily. This is a story of a horrific style clash. I don't even think Joshua could beat Miller as easily as Pulev could.
