His card and attempt at a RBR was almost distracting it was so bad.

Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury - December 1, 2018
after the last bell i thought ''there is no way to rob Tyson Fury in this fight'' but after i have heard it's the split decision and especially after i heard the first scorecard i knew that Fury is not going to officially win this fight

Stevie Wonder would score this fight better than himNoxy wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 01:55Mad or what.dagilechia wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 01:54 the Mexican judge believes that Wilder won that fight EVEN WITHOUT KNOCKDOWNS...

Wow, someone actually thought Fury lost the fight!? Fury schooled Wilder. He maybe lost 3 rounds, two of which were knockdowns.
Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury - December 1, 2018
Believe whatever you want. Fury managed to get up, but he did not do enough in most of the rounds besides tossing his head around. Wilder got the better work done the majority of the fight AND knocked his opponent down twice.
Nobody is going to convince me that Fury won that fight.

I don't know why some people talk like fights are scored on something other than a round-by-round basis. Two knockdowns to none, that's a shutout victory!

Fury won every round but the two be was knocked down. He was boxing him silly. Wilder was being made a fool of.
Everyone is going to know that Fury won that fight and got robbed because it was in the US. Anywhere else and Fury would have won.

By the way, that was NOT the version of Fury that beat Klitschko. Fury looked horrible here, but Wilder just plain sucks. Credit to Fury for getting up, though. I almost shat myself.
I don't think Fury beats Joshua unless he somehow finds that magic again.

Like I said, think whatever you want. I score damage done, not tongues sticking out and feints. Fury did precious little in any round. Wilder not only out damaged him. Wilder out boxed the bigger, longer man.dagilechia wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 01:58it was at least 114-112 Fury, i had it 116-110 Fury. no draw, no loss, TF won.

Amazing fury got up.
Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury - December 1, 2018
If you think Wilder won that fight you are utterly clueless about how to score boxing. Wilder won 3 rounds....4 is the most you can possibly stretch to. That would give him a draw. You cant rationally get to 5 rounds for Wilder, let alone SEVEN.
Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury - December 1, 2018
I'm with you. I thought Wilder edged it as well. Got no problem with the draw.ironbeard wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 02:01Like I said, think whatever you want. Punches are what get you points in Boxing. Not showboating, and clowning around. If Fury had fought like he did in the 6th and 7th early on then he'd have won, but he didn't. He played around like an idiot.

After watching some of these clips, looks like Fury was showboating, hugging and holding, and backing up most of the fight. Those 2 knock downs were awesome! You can't win a fight by getting knocked down that bad two times, all while doing all that other crap.

then you clearly don't know how to score boxing fights. boxing fights are scored round by round, and Fury won at least 8 of them.ironbeard wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 02:01Like I said, think whatever you want. The one good thing from this fight. Referee Jack Reiss.. what officiating. Excellent. Any other ref would have stopped that immediately and not even bothered counting.
I do think Fury was maybe staring at Reiss whilst on the floor.
I don’t call this a robbery.
I’m gonna rewatch this, but I found it ugly to score.
Both men’s stock has risen. They fought each other.
Joshua doesn’t really come out of this looking so good IMO. Can’t wait for Hearn’s comments.

So you don't actually score a fight as its supposed to be scored? You just make up your own scoring system and apply it...ironbeard wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 02:01Like I said, think whatever you want.
