Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
What an awful decision. The Gypsy King dominated. Huge credit to him.

Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
Disgrace in my opinion. Fury won by a wide margin. However, Fury could have been more cautious that last round. The 2nd knock down cost him the fight. Wilder has to know he lost.
Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
That's how it should have been:
1: Fury 10-9
2: Wilder 10-9
3: Fury 10-9
4: Fury 10-9
5: Fury 10-9
6: Fury 10-9
7: Fury 10-9
8: Fury 10-9
9: Wilder 10-8
10: Fury 10-9
11: Fury 10-9
12: Wilder 10-8
Total score: 115-111
1: Fury 10-9
2: Wilder 10-9
3: Fury 10-9
4: Fury 10-9
5: Fury 10-9
6: Fury 10-9
7: Fury 10-9
8: Fury 10-9
9: Wilder 10-8
10: Fury 10-9
11: Fury 10-9
12: Wilder 10-8
Total score: 115-111

Wilder knew he lost.
Because he did.

Is anyone shocked?
America has always been corrupt. Fury might as well have gone in there 3 rounds down.

Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
Fury won by 4 rounds.
You could tell just looking at Wilder at the end he knew he'd lost that.
Wilder - "I knocked him down twice so I thought I won the fight" .....yeeeeah, its scored over 12 rounds. He lost and he knows it, but I guess he has to come up with something in these interviews.
The Mexican judge should be subject to an investigation.

No he wasnt
Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
I think Fury won 116-112. (8-4) and with the KDs 114-112.
He shoulda won, but it's hardly the worst robbery is it ?

Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
Draw was fair. A narrow margin victory either way would've been reasonable too. No robbery here. Nobody dominated.
Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
Sorry guys, but I had Fury up by two going into the 12th.
Yeah, I hate to admit it, but I had it a draw.
I watched it with two boxing mad mates and we all had score cards I printed up.
One had it Wilder by 1
The other had it Fury by 1
And I had it even.
So no, not a robbery.
It could have been worse, I've seen worse. The Wilder winning card was crap though. No way. Not by that much.

Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
Not the worst decision, but I am sure 75% of writers etc. will have Fury winning, because he probably won most of those early rounds.. Of course Fury was 1 second from being counted out, so I guess lets do it again!

At least no one fkin lost. Would be good going into a fight with AJ, but I doubt Hearn would want either. Just a feeling.

You and I have a different definition of Dominated.
I understand Domination as thoroughly shutting a guy down, and not giving him a moment of control.
Not throwing your hands in the air, throwing your hands behind your back, sticking your tongue out, and generally being a jackass.
He did well in the latter half of the fight, but he started too late to deserve the win IMO.

It's that card I have a problem with. I thought Fury took it pretty easily aside from the two knockdowns, but I don't necessarily have a problem with the draw. But that 7 rounds to Wilder card was abysmal.KiwiRider wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 02:08 Sorry guys, but I had Fury up by two going into the 12th.

Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
The general consensus is that Fury won by a 1-3 rounds. Some have a draw and a handful have Wilder winning.
Away from home (shouldn't matter but we know it always does) a draw isn't a bad result.
Tyson was unlucky not to get the decision - yes.
Wilder is lucky to still have his belt - yes.
Bad decision ? Yes - most people had him winning, but it just isn't a robbery.

Fury was more effective through the fight. That's a one of definitions of dominance, I'd say.gilgamesh wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 02:13You and I have a different definition of Dominated.

Re: Tyson Fury was robbed against Deontay Wilder
By the way. In all seriousness. How does the 114-110 margin come about?
I'd think if it's 8 rounds to 4 with Fury it's 114-112, how does he get the 2 extra points? Genuinely curious about how that scorecard was tallied.

He was in 6 rounds. I agree. Unfortunately it takes at least 8 to win a fight when you've been dropped twice.DrDuke wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 02:14Fury was more effective through the fight. I will take AJ over either of them. But I hope to see them both, and a rematch.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Dec 2018, 02:11 At least no one fkin lost. Would be good going into a fight with AJ, but I doubt Hearn would want either. Just a feeling.
