Just voted for him, but fear it will be a waste of time as I've always thought it was rigged.

Anyways won't be watching him receive his award cos I can't stomach that see you next Tuesday lineker .

Think of the people you know who actually vote for SPOTY then think whether winning it is a positive or negative comment on your personality? Just a thought

Heh. I agree with most of his views, but I'm with you on not liking the man.

Still, it's good to see Nicky Piper getting work.

Why would anyone want to win that? I’d like to see him get the vote then when he stands up to collect, chuck it on the floor, swivel the presenters and stroll off stage

I see they've changed the rules for the main award and only unveiling the contenders for the main award on the night after what happened last year, the luvvies at the BBC can't have a nasty motorcyclist almost winning it again can they?

Netball and Golf can fornicate off.

Oh, the penalty shootout will win it, won't it?

The SPOTY the year is stupid anyway. The BBC use most of their sports budget just on this one night. Why not use it to get actual live sport on?

The BBC Sports team annual Christmas party, nothing more than that.

What happened last year? I do not even bother reading about it anymore but curious about what you said.

They don't give it to boxers, few times over the years boxers should of done it. But like give it to Hamilton for winning again? It's nonsense.

My missus is well into her netball,. They’ve been great this year and deserve some women’s team award or something.
Thrilling win in the CWG.

Hope Fury wins tho - love or hate him - he’s got more personality in his little finger than dull tax-cheat Lewis Hamilton.

The then triple(now quadruple) time World Superbike champion Jonathon Rea had the audacity to be voted into second place(and not far off winner Mo Farah if I remember rightly) and a lot of people didn't like that.

Some of the winners are strange, it's like when Giggs(2009) and Zara Phillips(2006) won it, who exactly voted for them? Giggs didn't exactly stand out that year

Olympic years are a right off as well, you've got to go back to 1996 when a non-Olympic sportsman won the award in an Olympic year.

All that money for a farce of an award and the inclusion of nothing sports like the Paralympics and womens football in the name of diversity just makes a fornicating mockery of it.

I got Fury at 50/1 a few weeks ago, please help me and my family have a great Christmas.

Also Fury has to be the most deserving winner ever, beat drugs, alcoholism depression, suicide, obesity in 12 months and completely schooled the feared unbeaten destructive champion in his own back yard.

He is one of us and has more charisma and personality than any other UK winner.

Will the BBC allow him to win, never in a million years.

If there's any justice William Dunlop should posthumously receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

I am a big fan of Fury but I didn’t believe Tyson would get the decision over McDermott, nor did I believe he would get through the second fight when he looked clearly out of shape and was breathing hard on the early rounds.

I didn’t believe he would beat Klitschko in Germany or be able to belt out a pitch perfect rendition of “I don’t want to a miss thing” in the ring afterwards.

I was also by no means sure that he would beat alcoholism, drugs, depression and UKAD or regain his previous form.

I also doubted he would return to the ring and face the most feared fighter on the planet after loosing 10 stone within a year.

I couldn’t see anyway he could withstand Wilders best punches flush and continue. At the count of 6 I didn’t see any way of him getting to his feet let alone carrying on.

I will only believe he can win SPOTY once Tyson says he can do it.

Having a personality doesn't really mean a thing, just because you have a loud brash personality doesn't mean it's a good thing. Most people can't be doing with loudmouth braggarts and that's the personality Fury gives off, even though I personally believe he's a big softy at heart, he's just a product of his upbringing in a nasty family.

Good luck mate, he's 15/2 4th favourite now, surly Harry Kane is an absolutely nailed on this year though. My Mrs thinks he's god and isn't really into football.
