Wilder hit him with not one but two full blooded head shots, neither of which Fury saw.
Either Wilders power is well over rated or Fury put himself alongside of Holmes in the chin stakes

I'd say it's the later. Fury has a very good chin.

Granite head !
Adding to the miracle, in an interview I saw with McCall a few years ago, he wasn't punchy. No more so than the average, anyway. I mean he's not that old, but still!

Also, how have we got this far into the thread without...!

Just to add that Wilder's chin is doing ok by he way. Not that Tyson is a KO artist but he tagged him enough. I think there is a 'theory' that Deontay has a touch of glass about him, but he's proving otherwise and that includes the Ortiz fight.

Back on track though, yep Fury has a great set of whiskers on him :TU:

Fury went down hard, he's a big fella, so when he falls, the impact is big.

I don't believe Wilder connected with a LOT OF POWER, not how much he wanted to anyway.. Fury was kinda already a little low and nearly on his way down when Wilder landed the left hook.
