Fury's Heart
Re: Fury's Heart
not nearly as much splits them as many think, see my earlier post , wilder isnt melting everyone he touches right away like you try to suggest lep and ajs a very good hitter in his own right
aj has ktfo ppl too and wilder has stopped guys standing w/o kds like duhaupas (wow he took loads without ever being dropped) or won decisions where the guys on his feet like stiverne 1. wilder has also had guys repeatedly get up from kds before like molina, who was an early round job for aj
they both won 1 decision and have enough power to seriously hurt each other and fury. aj has a more diverse and polished game then wilder to get his shots home and getting a stoppage isnt merely about power

I'm disagreeing with the notion that Joshua doesn't bang hard enough to take people out, he clearly does.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 02:59Wilders right hand is the hardest punch in boxing. Nobody is disputing Wilders power.
Re: Fury's Heart
ya, some people get so obsessed with wilders power (that and his amazingly unpredictably akward right hand over and over skill lol) they forget other guys can seriously punch and stop guys too
only 1 aj opponent has gone distance, same as wilder for his wins. and aj has done a faster job on all there common opponents
wilders power doesnt somehow mean no one else is a puncher or could stop/beat fury, da fuq

Re: Fury's Heart
Personally I think Wilder hits harder than AJ. Lots of Wilders opponents are knocked spark out whereas AJ doesn’t really knock guys unconscious with one punch. When you take into account that Wilder is normally outweighed by 1-3 stone and AJ is rarely outweighed it shows just how hard Wilder must hit.jamamb wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 03:36 ya, some people get so obsessed with wilders power (that and his amazingly unpredictably akward right hand over and over skill lol) they forget other guys can seriously punch and stop guys too

I did question wilders power myself but he convinced me with his showing against Ortiz. As don king would say "you made a believer out if me!!"
Joshua is a better combination puncher but lacks wilders patience. That could be a good thing because its going to be a who lands first kind of fight if it ever eventually happens after Joshua faces his murderers row of whyte, chisora etc. Wilder seems to have better survival skills and recuperative power but his only chance when hurt would be to catch Joshua with something or joshua wouls take him out. I think joshua would finish him. whereas if Joshua was hurt I could see him landing a counter on wilder because wilder will come in with no regard for his own defence when he has his man hurt.
Re: Fury's Heart
i do too, but imo its not huge difference and its really overplayed by someControversial wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 04:34Personally I think Wilder hits harder than. AJ. duhaupas never went down despite taking tons of flush shots , stiverne took loads the first fight but went 12 and stayed up, arreola stood up to a long battering before retiring between rounds, molina got up repeatedly and went deep, ortiz got up then went deep before slowing, washington was on his feet at the end not spark out
wilder has great power but some ppl really exaggerate , hes not knocking everyone out cold at all, and its not over as soon as he lands. and aj has some heavy kos himself too like sending whytes eyes to the back of his head, and a guy like pov was down , badly hurt and all over the place , molina layed out for good in 3 when it took wilder 9 or 10 and several kds etc
wilder may certainly hit harder but really the fights dont show some massive difference imo. and they both hit hard enough to seriously hurt each other and fury.
when you reach this high a level of power the differences become less important
Re: Fury's Heart
Im not disputing AJ's power i just think he doesnt put people away with one shit like wilder has, wilder has put a good few people away with 1 shot but i cant think of anyone AJ put away with one shotsamwbr wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 03:33I'm disagreeing with the notion that Joshua doesn't bang hard enough to take people out, he clearly does.TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 02:59Wilders right hand is the hardest punch in boxing. Re: Fury's Heart
Not Fury's biggest fan & often questioned his chin after being dropped by Cunningham & having a safety first approach despite in the build-up to every fight claiming otherwise , but getting back to his feet in that 12th round was impressive.
Can't see how anyone can query his heart after that display.

Wilder is a one-punch KO artist.. Has more power in his hands than anyone I think..
Joshua mostly stops his opponents after an accumulation of punches, his timing helps with that.

Wilder is a far, far heavier puncher than Joshua will ever be in his life

Nobody disputes Wilders power, it's the dismissal of Joshuas that is wrong. Jamamb summed it up earlier in the thread.thechump wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 08:33Yep and thats my original point but people were saying im wrong and AJ has got powerRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 07:56Wilder is a one-punch KO artist.. Re: Fury's Heart
I have never said Joshua couldnt punch,i was just saying wilder seems to knock people out with one shot and AJ hits them with a combination of punches to k.o them. Wilder is wild but no matter how he gets the shot off it k.o's guyssamwbr wrote: ↑04 Dec 2018, 08:58Nobody disputes Wilders power, it's the dismissal of Joshuas that is wrong. Re: Fury's Heart
ppl dont want to see actual facts...note how little actual examples some of these guys are giving or fghts such as duhaupas they act as though never happened.
smply not true that dws laying guys out cold left and right with one shot while ajs only getting these drawn out accumulation 'mercy' stoppages or can only really do damage after loads of punches. aj flattened whyte. aj suddenly blasted out pov. aj blasted out molna for good early when mol went deep vs wlder and was hit plenty. carlos ..martin ...and very durable johnson all went down early etc. wlad down as soon as aj opened up.
and just watch for example deontay vs duhaupas. aj has never pounded a guy flush that much w/o being able to put them down. same for deontay vs stverne 1. wlder ddnt stop arreola with one shot ether....was a corner retirement after drawn out beatdown that ppl would scream 'accumulation ..no 1 punch power' at aj for. wlder needed a bunch of shots to finally put molna away late when aj pounded mol out 3rd round. ortz was stopped from several shots after a tough fght where he tired and that was an accumulation if something such as aj-wlad was
wlder may well punch harder ...that would be my guess....but some of ths 'more power in 1 hand then aj together'is laughable. and lol no one bothers to actually responded to the facts im putting forth
