A lot of floor tickets remain yet.. The yellow section starts from $506.00 up to $1,006.00.. A lot remain there too..

GGG sold out MSG quick when he fought Lemieux and Jacobs..

No disrespect, but Fielding isn't anywhere near as highly regarded (or as popular) as Lemieux or Jacobs were, at the time. Also, how much were tickets for those fights? I'm not overly familiar with US pricing, but $500-1000 seems on the expensive side, for those sections.

I hope it doesn't sell well. If this sells out and bags a ton of subscribers for DAZN, it will send out the message that it's ok to match Canelo soft. Who wants that?

TBH, it does sound quite expensive.. I think they trying to maximize gate revenue.

Thing is, for $9.99, who wouldn't subscribe for DAZN.. It might not get MANY views compared to what he could..
DAZN will see a big increase when Canelo fights a bigger/better name.

They need to pay for that massive contract somehow.

To be honest, if I lived over there, I'd definitely pay $9.99 a month. I hope you're right and the subscriber bump comes later. If they know they can fight fringe contenders and still rake in the $, they will. Any promoter would.

:KO: What a terrible first thread of the day. I am certain that this nauseates those with weak stomachs.

That is expensive for a run of the mill card, but it is a bit low if this was a megafight.

I have to move on. It is too early on a crisp, gorgeous morning to be giving myself a headache thinking of GingerHead v Fielding.

Probably making up for the case were they might not attract 'that many' subs.

I'm actually a bit hyped after seeing the height difference. It's absolutely massive. Fielding looks taller than Chavez Jr. did against Canelo. I'm just wondering how Canelo will handle it. This will be the biggest, tallest guy Canelo has faced. It's an interesting dynamic. I'm also tempted to pick Fielding in the Prophet game, but I've read there is a rehydration clause.

They picked Fielding for a reason. That guy is soft. If Canelo wants to make a solid statement at 168, he should go for Callum Smith. In fact Callum TKO1 Fielding.

I don't think Fielding is that great, but Canelo does struggle against fighters that can fight off the backfoot. The thing is that Fielding's inside game is garbage. It'll go to the inside at some point and Fielding won't land. I just find the dynamic interesting is all when the fight is on the outside. I'd really like to see how Canelo handles the fight there.

Why even bring up Callum Smith/Fielding, though? Canelo is nowhere near as big as Callum Smith, nor does he have his power. No reason to bring up Smith at all here. Canelo/Fielding will not resemble that fight, I guarantee it.

If Rocky can keep the distance with his (fairly reasonable) jab, i see this fight being a decent watch. as stated by others, as soon as it goes to the inside, Canelo has it all over Fielding.

Canelo is getting better as his career progresses as he is still learning. I believe he takes out Fielding in five.

Of course, Canelo is levels above Fielding. And Rocky isn't that type of fighter to keep Canelo at the end of the jab or use his size any other way possible. The Red Head is to outclass Rocky, maybe to drop him for a couple of times, maybe to stop him eventually.

As someone else mentioned, it'll be a good watch.

Body shots, similar to the Smith fight will stop Fielding.

The fact that he’s shorter will help him.

True. Well, maybe an actual stoppage won't necessarily be after the shots to the body, but the body work will be a one of the crucial fasctors in Canelo's mauling of Fielding.

fielding with the stupid rehydration clause actually agreed to a well paid hand over of his belt, he worked hard to get.

I wouldn't have accepted that shit, but of course the money is that big they had to, ACTING like the weight clause doesn't bother them is included in the contract.

That canelo deems that shit necessary & that they stipulate it in a fornicating title-fight for the supermiddle belt, that now will not go down at the actual full rehydrated in ring weight that the titleholder is used to his whole fornicating career is just an embarrassing & disgusting shit move.

No matter what happens on fight night, even if rocky can keep canelo off him & deal with his speed & power, shit, even if he actually would make it a tough, close bout, it will be a fornicating landslide scorecard for canelo x3.

Rocky has to put him away to keep his fornicating belt, would love to see that, but coming in not fully hydrated/drained it's an impossible task. It's likely the opposite will happen. Shit fight.

If he wants to prove he's the best he should fight the best not a drained version of the guy who got blown away in one by the best at smw. No disrespect for rocky, hope he does well but fornicate that shit.
