I know Francis Cowen whom Ernie twice defeated. He said Ernie was pretty good.

Do you have a better publicity photo of him, and a bio, we could add to his Wiki page?

The next time I'm down that way, I'm going to stop in. I know Francis Cowen, who Ernie Cab twice defeated. He said that Ernie had alot of talent and was a very good boxer requardless of the record.

Yes he is still alive. When he boxed, he couldn't back up well because of an injury in WWII. He worked at Griffiss, AFB when I was stationed there in the 80s. He spoke well of Ernie Cab several times. Francis was a sparring partner for Ezzard Charles for one of the Marciano fights.

My best friend lives just outside of D.C., I travel there about once a year.
