WBSS being cancelled would be awful news, it's been a breath of fresh air for boxing. Hope it gets sorted.

Why not? Let them pay for it.

Because I'd rather boycott such a vile regime. We keep selling out to them, they keep getting away with their carp.

Don't want to lose the WBSS though - it's been awesome.

The funding for this tournament was always gonna be an issue. I hope it gets sorted because it's the best thing to happen to boxing in a long time....

I knew it wouldn't last forever.. But we're only mid way through season 2..

Come on Comosa!! UK let the tournament down as well.. No one wanted to air the fights.

It's been incredible, but surely it can continue with reduced purses ?
£5m for the winner wasn't it ? Please correct me if I'm wrong on that - but (no offence to a great fighter that I love to watch) £5m for Callum Smith to beat the Finn, a kickboxer and (aging, possibly finished) George Groves ?!
Seem insane.

No free-to-air TV coverage, PPV must have been a disaster, repeating the same weight class in the second series. Boring.
