96% Homi. Are you doing it again?HomicideHenry wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 13:07 "Willed themselves into seeing something that wasn't there"..... So 96% of boxing fans, fighters, trainers, promoters, managers, etc are all victims of wishful thinking? That they imagined Fury won?
You lost all credibility.

Watch this racist garbage
Apparently if you are black and say Fury won, you're a house negro. Apparently Fury didn't really win, Wilder just let the black community down. After all white crackers can't fight, dance, sing, etc.

Re: Deontays constant moaning....
I'm sick?
I'm color blind. Fury won, period. But there are alot of people who see nothing but color. Boxing, unfortunately, is polluted with tribalism. There's white supremacists, black supremacists, Hispanic supremacists, etc. I view fights on tactical merits only.
But I wouldn't be surprised IF Wilder does somewhere down the line bring up race, considering he pulled out the race card at the pre-fight press conference. Not that he needs to considering his claims of broken arms, etc.

Same to you asshole!
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
it is true though......broken arm (not toe thankfully) hurt his performance , highly generous refing ('long count '+ '9 out 0f 10 wouldve stopped it immediately' ), biased judging (at least he was saying this), the random extra weight loss that he says made him way too light
lots of fighters get trash thrown at them when they come up with all this type of stuff, wilder has plenty of haters but this really isnt a hate thing imo for ppl to go after him about this.

And they don't really say that anyway.
And if they're serious ? Then they're as silly as you - bringing 'race' in to everything.
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
I am not too proud to admit that counseling has helped me on more than one occasion for separate issues.
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
I am not defending his comments, and I am not claiming that everyone criticizing him for them is a hater. There are a helluva lot of haters overplaying it though.jamamb wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 13:40 it is true though......broken arm (not toe thankfully) hurt his performance , highly generous refing ('long count '+ '9 out 0f 10 wouldve stopped it immediately' ), biased judging (at least he was saying this), the random extra weight loss that he says made him way too light

Wilder is giving his opinion. ANYTHING other than complete capitulation was destined to be jumped on.
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
any fighter giving excuses could be said to be the same, haye believed it seemed his toe hurt his performance etc
one of the things boxing fans jump on hardest is perceived excuses, esp if its 4 or 5 of them, i dont really think its generally getting overdone or overly applied to wilder here when he pulled out 1 thing after another. im actually surprised hes not getting more backlash
not a'haterz hating!!' thing, that itself is getting boring along with any of the hate

Whether it is “getting boring” or not “haterz” be hatin’.jamamb wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 14:00 any fighter giving excuses could be said to be the same, haye believed it seemed his toe hurt his performance etc

Re: Deontays constant moaning....
maybe, and weve certainly have some posters continually remind us of that, but this issue to me isnt a hater thing, perceieved excuses are a huge magnet for criticism regardlessof the fighter and wilders made several. imo hes in general not getting it too hard about this considering
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
As I have mentioned before, all of Wilder’s comments / claims are fuel for the rematch.jamamb wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 14:08 maybe, and weve certainly have some posters continually remind us of that, but this issue to me isnt a hater thing, perceieved excuses are a huge magnet for criticism regardlessof the fighter and wilders made several. imo hes in general not getting it too hard about this considering
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
ya could be,and maybe thats why other fighters have to rationalize/explain away with their 'opinions' too, for career damage control or for future fights, or maybe simply for protective self belief
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
Because he was outboxed for the majority of the fight and struggled to land anything significant most of the roundsOnetimeonly wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 11:36He may well have just been in shock that fury got up. I don't know why he'd think he lost, virtually nothing happened in over half the rounds.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 11:28He looked like he thought he'd lost when the bout ended. Very subdued.Onetimeonly wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 09:50 In the realm of boxers excuses, his are pretty minor. He said it was a close fight. No fighter in history wearing his shoes wouldn't have thought they won.
Re: Deontays constant moaning....
None of it, from any direction matters. It was a draw, and it will be an epic rematch.

Hank likes to crank out fake quotes and misinterpret videos and statements. Best bet is just use his posts for the unintentional humor and take everything he says as fabrication.skanksta wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 13:48I think it's pretty clear they're joking around.HomicideHenry wrote: ↑07 Dec 2018, 13:13

"Ya" I think that forumites are way harsh on boxers - they HAVE to lie to themselves.
It's like they expect them to say..,
"I lost 'cos because I'm fundamentally inferior at something I've dedicated my life to," and then add, "Despite the fact that my livelihood, ego and indeed health are on the line - I go into the ring with no confidence whatsoever" or,
"Let's be honest, I was lucky to win a British title - I@m totally out of my depth at this level - I expect I'll get humiliated AND badly hurt"
