Bellew doesn't have anything to keep Povetkin away and to outfight him. Povetkin will knock Bellew out.

Bellew is not a heavyweight and he isn't beating someone of Povetkin's stature.

Bellew's only form at HW are 2 wins over a broken down sack of you know what in David Haye.

Povetkin would have marmalised the version of Haye that Bellew beat; actually, I'm inclined to believe that my next door neighbour's cat could have beaten that version of David Haye, so that's hardly any gauge of form.

Povetkin would have smoked Bellew inside of 4 rounds and that's being generous.

Can't see Bellew beating Povetkin. Can't muster enough of an arsenal to keep Pov off him for very long, IMHO

Povetkin hasn't knocked out any opponent in the first couple of rounds since Mike Perez.
Chinny David Price went 5.
Bellew held his own against p4p Usyk for the first few rounds.
Povetkin wins but it's not going to be a quick knock out. This fight goes 7-9 rounds

In a fight where usyk didn’t do anything for four rounds, not sure that’s a fight I would use to measure this fight. David Price had power to keep Povetkin honest, what is Bellew going to do to keep him off him for seven rounds?

Please name a 2 round blow out for Povetkin since the ped controversy.
I'm not doubting Povetkin beats the hell out of Bellew. I just don't see a quick knock out.
That is just not the fighter Povetkin is anymore

I agree. I do think the Russian would stop him mid rounds though. I would hate to see it because I kind of like Bellew.

..beating an injury-prone and over-the-hill David Haye hardly justifies such a comparision..

Povetkin by stoppage.

Just a level, maybe 2, above Bellew, who was never held in any special regard until he twice whipped a very faded Haye.

Bellew made a big name for himself by beating a former name.

But he never beat any prime heavy.

Did Bellew really have a legitimate edge through 4 against Usyk? Or was the champion just studying his opponent and giving up those early rounds much as he did in his fight against Hunter?

Bellew never had an edge over Usyk; Olesandr was always in control of that fight and was biding his time.
