Boxingnation card live 5.30pm today 8/12 Mbenge Vasquez
Boxingnation have got a live show today at 5.30pm, they must have only just picked it up today as I only found out about it a couple of hours ago, just thought I’d give people the heads up. Mbenge v Vasquez for the IBO welterweight title, Oosthuizen v Mchunu which is a rematch following an extremely close fight last time out.

Rather watch this than Matchroom card

Couple quick ko's on the trot there. This MBenge fella up next against Vazquez. Seen the SA lad has a good stoppage win over Diego Chavez last time out, must be decent.
Think the SA commentators are on the glue

Poor Vazquez. Too small, too old, too damaged... Mbenge needs another gear though

Seems the Oosthuizen/Mchunu rematch is headlining after all
Vazquez down from a right hand, same as he was against Taylor, it did look like it landed on the hip mind
He retires on his stool, Mbenge's decent but still a lot to learn

120-109 Mchunu excellent performance from him just bullied and walked through Oosthuizen for 12 rounds, I had Mchunu nicking the first fight as well but it was razor tight, this on the other hand was a rout, Mchunu fought a hard, smart fight and never let Oosthuizen in it, Mchunu is tiny compared to him but he whipped in the body shots, some big left hands and big right hooks, all which had no problem landing on the upright Oosthuizen
Oosthuizen was a mess, physically and mentally, he wasn't in the best of shapes in the first fight but got the win and was at least competitive, here he just stood there, not using his feet and never really letting his hands go to much effect, I was giving him the 11th but he couldn't even be arsed to keep hold of that and I had Mchunu grabbing a share of it, his one positive was his chin and durability, he took some big shots, I think him being so much bigger helped as Mchunu coudnt quite reach high enough to get full purchase
This fight wasn't nearly as competitive as the first fight but it was a lot better to watch, just to see Mchunu put in a great performance,
