Khan is the most self centered fighter of his generation. He will never face Brook if there is even a 1% chance of a Pacquiao fight happening.

I think Brook Khan is probably a bigger fight crowd and money wise right now. Pac would screw Khan down tight considering Pac is the A side with the belt. Brook Khan is more likely to be a 50/50 split and in front of 80,000 at the 02tiny_acres wrote: ↑07 Aug 2018, 20:17Khan is the most self centered fighter of his generation. Khan would never ever agree to 50/50 to fight Brook.KiwiRider wrote: ↑07 Aug 2018, 22:26I think Brook Khan is probably a bigger fight crowd and money wise right now. Hearn has said he’s looking at Cardiff in December.

I think Eddie is overestimating the public’s interest in seeing two washed up fighters meeting 3 or 4 years after they should’ve done. This will sell out the O2 or the MEN but on a cold rainy night in the depths of winter in wales the stadium would be half empty.
If khan can make more money fighting manny in Saudi Arabia or wherever then good luck to him. It’s all well and good brook trying to engineer a big money cash out now but he should’ve taken big fights when he was in his prime rather than fight gavin, bizier, dan etc

Eddie is a helmet but he can sell a fight, but I agree with you here. He's really overestimating interest in this fight. It's not what it could've been a few years ago. Both damaged goods now.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑08 Aug 2018, 04:45 I think Eddie is overestimating the public’s interest in seeing two washed up fighters meeting 3 or 4 years after they should’ve done. As you say Eddie’s a great salesman and the usual round of press conferences and face offs can drum up a certain amount of interest especially as khan and brook have a genuine and long held dislike of each other.
It’s a very similar promotion to haye bellew - two fighters with no real relevance at world level who dislike one another and have personalities big enough to draw in the casuals.
I’m looking forward to it though.

Yeah same providing it actually comes off! I'll believe it when I see it.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑08 Aug 2018, 08:11As you say Eddie’s a great salesman and the usual round of press conferences and face offs can drum up a certain amount of interest especially as khan and brook have a genuine and long held dislike of each other.

It was a superfight when both had a claim to being the No.1 Welter, now it's a bit 'meh' BUT I still want to see it. With some catchweight shenanigans it's a 50/50 grudge match. With a really good undercard it'll be a big live gate and decent PPV.
Or have low-expectations infested my brain ?

The only way this fight happens is on PPV and I can't see there being enough interest to warrant it. Back to the question though and Brook has a lot more left in the tank than Khan. I think Brook wins easily at this stage of their careers

Re: Who has More Left in the Tank? Amir Khan or Kell Brook?
Brook thought he was calling the shots. He could have had the fight signed and done in principle in October had he agreed to the 10 pound clause. He's the one chasing Khan..
Now if Khan accepts Crawford's offer, Brook will be left with his dick in his hand and another crappy tune-up in April..

Re: Who has More Left in the Tank? Amir Khan or Kell Brook?
Brook probably has more left in the tank, but Khan has more left in his orbital bones

They may fit 80k in the o2 if they expand it by like 400%KiwiRider wrote: ↑07 Aug 2018, 22:26I think Brook Khan is probably a bigger fight crowd and money wise right now. Everything about last night was shït. I wouldn’t want to perform in sheffield again after that too. Crowd was non existant. Worst Matchroom card this year. Seen better NXTGEN cards.
There was no need for this show. What you reckon Kell get’s paid for this? £200k?

Re: Who has More Left in the Tank? Amir Khan or Kell Brook?
Brook looks like he might have paid the price for actually fighting during the last few years.
On the other hand, the idle Khan has peed away a lot of his prime years chasing down paydays, but as a result of this, he might now have more left in his tank.
It's a funny old world.

If they don’t fight real soon it will be like two toothless prostitutes fighting over a $5 blowjob.
