Couldn't watch it after 8 rounds........ I honestly thought he was going to get stopped. He was shocking and looked as if he was boxing underwater.
The corner was a joke and looked every bit inexperienced as it was.
I've seen a clip of Fewkes saying Brook is a great offensive fight so I wonder if they tried to make him more into one, which is a worry because he's far from one.
Back to the drawing board for Brook because if this set up carries on he won't last against the big boys which is a shame when you think how good he looked in March

Has there ever been a world-class fighter who has gone to train with someone who has never trained a pro boxer before?

Good shout. Davison had already trained BJS. Wasn't he training MTK fighters in Marbella?

I thought Brook looked disinterested on his way to the ring, during the introductions and throughout the fight. He didn't look motivated and I think that was the main reason for his poor performance. As mentioned on this thread, the cornerman was spitting out far too many instructions and Brook looked like he didn't want to be there.

Yeh. His hometown crowd didn’t help. Must have been like 5k in there. They were literally silent al the way until Kell was announced the winner.

For that fight he weight 154lbs. He weighed 150lbs for this one. That might have made a difference.

Personally I hope Kell retires and enjoys his money the snap seems to have gone now and I would hate to see him hang around too long and get seriously hurt

They were quite vocal in the first round. I don't think we can blame the crowd for being quiet when for the most part, Brook trudged forward eating right hands. It's not like he gave them much to cheer.

That and the fact that they probably thought it would last 4 rounds? Maybe.

The pair of them have pissed around for years with this on off fight, they stood to make millions at one stage and now Brook is jumping to Khan's tune and is willing to starve himself, such a show of desperation from Brook and he will end up losing,i'm pretty sure of it now.

Whilst not making PPV money.. Khan was being paid an average $1.5m under PBC. He made that much for Algieri.

Looking back at Froch’s card.. any round that the away fighter clearly wins.. he scores it 10-10.

I think most the Sky guys do that too.

Everyone shat on Brook last night though. DAZN and Sky commentary.

Not much point to the Khan fight now and even less point to any fight with Hurd etc either. Brook looked shot last night and probably the GGG and Spence hidings have done for him

Yeah the sky commentary was particularly poor.

Froch was on Brook's case from the 2nd round. They cut to shots of Ingle smiling throughout the fight and showed Nelson speaking to Ingle after the fight. The guy interviewing him in the ring was a disgrace "every cloud I suppose", disgraceful way for an interviewer to behave.

Sky team definitely showing they're in the Ingle camp on this one.
