Fighters suspended indefinetly by different states in the USA

Why are some fighters suspended indefinitely in certain states in the USA, it doesn't give a reason on boxrec that I can see. Callum Johnson is one I was looking at, is it just because he lost by KO?

I think it's like you are suspended untill you want to fight again in that state where you then have to pass some more tests.
So then if it was a one off appearance the suspension continues

Some associations have a mandatory suspension when a fighter is stopped in their previous fight.

In the UK I think its an automatic 30 day suspension.

I assume there are similar rules in the US?
