I remember fighting in Belfast as a floater.
I was told if the next one goes early that I'd be on next but if not I was on last.
I asked who was fighting and they said Radford so I thought I was def fighting last, ended up he got done in the first and I got on early!

When you see Radford beating these genuine hard cases, it really puts into perspective what level Duran must have been on.
Imagine seeing him in these pub fights, fornicate that, not someone you’d wanna spill your pint on!

Used to talk to Dave Radford, James McCrory, James Quinn McDonagh, etc when I used to do coverage of BKB for ATGRADIO. It amazes me how a 147-154 pound pro like Dave, in old age, was knocking around Heavyweights in these bareknuckle contests--- which either meant Dave was hard as they come, or the BKB talent pool (at the time) was considerably weak. Maybe a mixture of the two. Very respectable man and courteous.

If only someone would invent some sort of portal where people could go and watch video clips like on your own TV or as we used to call it "the tube." Yeah that sounds good, a TUBE where YOU could search and watch videos. A kinda, you tube thing.......Onetimeonly wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 00:13Lol, I love that sparring footage with old man Duran and benn.

Juan Carlos Giminez went the distance with both Duran and Benn. He rocked Duran to his toes in the first round.

Yup BBAD. There was so many bkb companies popping up, and so much inside drama with different guys, etc that it made people jump ship. Still, I'd say the United Kingdom has the better bkb competitors than America although now the American side has PPV and some solid names in the two organizations.Oiky wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 06:57Yeah, boxed on bbad didn't he, been sold on now & is a much bigger companyHomicideHenry wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 21:53 Used to talk to Dave Radford, James McCrory, James Quinn McDonagh, etc when I used to do coverage of BKB for ATGRADIO.
