Re: PBC on ITV
Hearn underestimated the loyalty that a lot of the big name US fighters have towards Haymon. He anticipated that once he got that huge deal with DAZN, that he'd open up the cheque book, and they'd all come flocking over and desert Al. Clearly a case of the famous Hearn ego biting him in the ass.Steveh583 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 12:26I have been thinking this for awhile. Kind of waiting for the big push in America but it doesn't seem to be happening. He promised loads of big name signings that haven't materialised. I suppose you could argue that its still early days but he doesn't seem to be making an impact, and The uk seems to be suffering because of the distraction.

Yeah Hearn went in with two feet rather quick without thinking it seems

Maybe Jacobs and Miller although i think they're still associated with Haymon?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 18:37Yeh! Was Miller ever affiliated with Haymon?Nondescript wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 18:48Maybe Jacobs and Miller although i think they're still associated with Haymon?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 18:37Yeh! Who did he exactly sign from PBC?Nondescript wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 14:34

Haymon still advises Jacobs, but nothing to do with PBC. Hearn signed him before the DAZN deal.

He’s apparently doing a card early next year that’ll have four world title fights, plus Jarrell Miller and Callum Johnson. That was the news going round. Sounds great when put like that, could very well be shite when announced, but it sounds loads better than Brook vs Zerafa. Hopefully Haymon spanks Hearn’s arse till he comes home.Steveh583 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2018, 12:26I have been thinking this for awhile. Lots of unrest in the snooker world too, Bazza getting a lot of shite over how he is forcing players into tournaments, not allowing time off, making them travel to China for events which make a ton of money for Matchroom............ripe for someone to come and fck with the Hearns at their very core. Someone go and show Al how to play snooker, then go fck with the darts. I would love these arseholes to have the heart of their businesses ripped to shreds.

Snooker hasn’t been in a better state for over 20 years. There’s far more tournaments, prize money in the tournaments is increasing each year, there’s more of it on the TV than ever before and it’s growing globally which few sports are.tobyh5 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2018, 04:35 Lots of unrest in the snooker world too, Bazza getting a lot of shite over how he is forcing players into tournaments, not allowing time off, making them travel to China for events which make a ton of money for Matchroom............ripe for someone to come and fck with the Hearns at their very core. People always have gripes. 5 years ago they were complaining about reducing prize funds and fewer than ever tournaments.
Re: PBC on ITV
It is hard to write about Maloney. Do we refer to him Kellie when writing about when he was Frank, like we do with the Clay/Ali thing, or do we call Frankenkelli to cover all bases?
Re: PBC on ITV
Box office I take it? No way I'm paying for Pac v Broner! What's the other fight?
Re: PBC on ITV
Box office?
I should have known really. Disappointing.
