Great record.

Tucker also had two Dual matches vs East Germany in 1980:

March 1980 +81 kg -Werner Kohnert, GDR L 1-2
March 1980 +81 kg -Juergen Fanghaenel, GDR L. DQ 1

That would give him at least 12 losses as an amateur (***claimed an amateur record of 115-6).

man so many of the claimed records are total bs, i remember a boxer by me had an am record of like 60-22 , posted fight by fight by his club, and then he turned pro with a biggish promoter (strangely never actually fought though, think he had out of the ring issues) , the record on his clubs site vanished, and suddenly he was on press releases at something like 137-18

the number of wins is harder to disprove then the losses. because you see a loss and can add them up and say a guy lost more then he said, but with wins them not being on websites doesnt mean they are disproved. but guys like broner claiming like 350 wins when he turned pro at 18.....nah

and don curry claiming around 450 wins

the credit i will give loma, even though the 396 win number might be inflated, i could only ever find that 1 loss for him in almost around 80-100 documented international fights. he did have that fight with conceio but that technically is a win.

Thank you for pointing out the Germany fights...what makes it embarrassing is they are on my record and I just somehow skipped right over typing them in (the first was March 9th in Schwerin and the second was March 11th or 12th in Rostock)...my bad.

Some countries have previously considered 'inter club sparring' as actual bouts!!!!!

Take a look at Donald Curry's claimed 408 bouts, 404 wins.

He turned pro at 19 so assuming UK rules where you couldn't then box til aged 11, he would need to have had a minimum 50 bouts a year to achieve that total.

Never mind injuries, summer/ xmas breaks, international duty or the difficulty of finding opponents.
