In his case it's almost certainly not about the money. He just has that itch again, and needs to scratch it. Maybe he'll reconsider, but when something is what you love to do it's hard to just walk away when you still feel like you're capable of doing it.

I honestly think he just needs to stay retired, he obviously doesn’t need any more payday’s, so I’m guessing it’s the embarrassment of losing and wanting to get vengeance. Oh yeah, that’d be brilliant. He could have some serious good protégés under his training — and possibly even Vitali could help! — which seems like a really good idea for him.
