I have GR 115-113. Wouldn't have a major issue with a draw.

tbh, watching hart in both fights i saw i guy who i felt his body couldve done more, but he just didnt do it. like i said, his trash opposition apart from zurdo mightve hurt him

Happy with the scores there.

Hart can't be too unhappy - he lost by 2 rounds in 36 across 3 judges.

Zurdo pulled it out the bag with a brilliant last round. :box:

Yes.
Hart looks like he's found his level - a tough 12 round challenger, but never quite a champion.

One of the judges gave GZR the 5th which was a clear as day Hart round. Shouldve been a draw.

Decent fight. Had Ramirez not injured his elbow he coulda got the stoppage but Hart is pretty tough.

Fair to say that Calum Smith is the best SMW in the world.

Not at all. Ramirez looked fantastic. Best I've seen him in there until he hurt his elbow. This forum is being too generous to Hart. Ramirez was landing the more effective punches, and very likely would've gotten the stoppage had he not been injured.

So did I.
I thought EVERY round was close, bar the 12th.
Verdict was spot on imo.

nah forum isnt being too generous, hart defo came on in that second half and its easy to find 5 rounds for him. i do think that injury was legit though because zurdo defo really stopped using that arm as much

but tbh i really have not been impressed by zurdo much in general. hes good but i would take callum to beat him too

Gzr doesn't punch hard enough, falls in too much. Smith hits harder & is technically more polished.

Hart was smothering his punches and hitting Zurdo's gloves a lot. Zurdo's punches were just so much more effective, especially to the body. Commentators were trying hard to drive a "close fight" narrative.

it was a close fight , seems thats the consensus across forums and boxing writers ive seen. the judges actually had it good. i didnt even have the sound on to hear commentary. that was defo harts second half for the most part but zurdo pulled that last round out when he needed it.

Smith has never met someone like Zurdo who has superior inside work and is just as big. Only thing I'd fear is that Zurdo is injury prone.

Best version of Hart we've seen to date and Zurdo beat him with one arm. This forum was listening too much to the narrative driven by the commentators. Zurdo won that pretty easily. Only reason it was anywhere near close was because of his injury.

Zurdo didn't impress me on the inside, he allowed Hart to put his weight on him despite being the bigger man.

I like Ramirez, but he's too swashbuckling and lacks top level power - I'm confident enough in saying Smith is better.

Even worse. Get your eyes check then, idiot. Ramirez had Hart wobbling all over the damn ring and looking tired throughout. His arm punches were ineffective and he was just holding and smothering everything. That crap doesn't win you rounds unless you are the average BoxRec poster that doesn't know how to score fights.

lol so how did you score it then bruh?

zurdo was doing not much at all and was looking ragged and weary in much of the second half, it may well have been because of the injury but it happened. ppl were right to score it close. hart did more over those rounds. it was close but clear ramirez, that last round was very important for him

Arum is a smart man. Zurdo had his hands full twice with Hart- a genuine B level opponent.
I doubt Zurdo would even make the top #3 SMW in the UK. In fact, I would only give him 50/50 against Rocky for the #4 spot.
