Please post your Boxrec official pro record so we can gauge your validity of calling a decent Euro level fighter a ‘bum’........,,

Well overused that word is. Yes, we’ll out of his depth, but far from a ‘bum’

A stiff bum who got previously TKO 1 by Callum Smith. :OhYes:

A decent euro level 168 pounder atm is DeGale / Eubank Jr. :TU:

Your info is a bit out of date there Polly, Degale was a decent Euro level SMW.

Piss off, Fielding is no bum. He's a guy that never had the glitz and glam if being primed for the pros, with teams of nutritionists building is physique while draining him down to bowl over no hopers - the general 3-year career plan these days. He got his break through fvcking Prizefighter - a competition where you have to win 3 fights in a single night, each over just 3 rounds, to keep your unbeaten record and make a few quid.
Everybody thought Fielding was domestic level but kept putting together wins. He was out his depth vs Smith but bounced back and against everyone's predictions became a world champion, which was rewarded with a dream payday vs Canelo, that nobody ever could have imagined all those years ago when Rocky was slugging it out on Prize Fighter trying to get somewhere in boxing, from nothing.

But yeah, some guy on the internet thinks he's a bum.

Well said.
Anytime Canelo wants a belt in a different division he seeks out a British fighter who has a belt.

Fielding is a straight up stiff no doubt but if Canelo was doing this to test the waters at 168 and then fight Callum or Zurdo next then it was a good move. But if it was just a marketing boost for Canelo with no other big fights at 168 then it's b.s.

Nope. He is a domestic euro bum. He got TKO 1 by Callum Smith. That dude is mentally and physically soft for a pro.

..bum or no bum, I would abstain mentioning "world champ" title too often, belt-holder is more like it..my understanding is that Fielding wasn't even that...

Instead of degrading a fine Professional who risks his body in a ring, I saw a beast who has improved each fight. Canelo was downright scary last night. I think Callum Smith is the class of 168, but not sure if I would give him a chance against the Canelo of yesterday. If all you see is one fine Pro being a bum , maybe you should take up another sport to watch. You obviously do not understand anything about boxing. It is very easy calling someone a stiff on a forgin computer.

Canelo has one of the stiffest track records in the sport right now. Stiffer than Lomachenko, GGG, Spence, Crawford, Usyk, Garcia, Joshua. Short of Pacquiao no one really comes close to Alvarez. Canelo has also already fought in multiple divisions, I'm thinking a easy fight in a new division after fighting to a draw and a decision win agaisnt the so called boogieman after moving up in weight to make that fight deserves little if any criticism.

Nope. Canelo has some top-notch quality wins like prime Trout, Lara and GGG. :TU:

Yup, probably Trout was more clearly but yeah. The idea is Gingerboy was taking some risky fights.

I call a spade a spade. To criticize Canelos fight last night is picking at straws considering who he has fought. Canelo has tested himself on numerous occasions despite anyones opinion on the outcome of the fights.

Why are we all so surprised. Canelo is a laboratory developed beast. Easy matchup for him. Let him have a go at Callum Smith FFS and let's see if he holds up to him...I doubt it. Let's see GBP take a little risk and stop protecting Canelo "Ivan Drago" Alvarez. End of message.

Thank goodness I did not order DAZN last night.

Are we talking about the same guy who was busted for PEDs less than a year ago? :maybe:

LOL! I doubt we'll see Smith v. Canelo any time soon. Smith way too big for even the artificially bulked up Alvarez.

Callum is big indeed but gingerboy is so slick and hard to hit with strong body puches. I'd like to see this fight in 2019. Callum, GGG III and Jacobs. :OhYes: :box:
