Has there been any rumours going around of what kind of subscriber base they have built up so far?

The Canelo deal alone is an insane figure!

A five year, 11 fight deal at £278 million.

I can't imagine Canelo being fed the likes of Fielding, is going to draw in huge numbers of subscribers either.

There's talk of Jacobs, Andrade, a 3rd fight with Golovkin etc, next, but by all accounts, DLH wants to match Canelo up with Lemieux next

True! I wonder what kind of subscribers from the boxing side of the business that they'll consider a success though.

DAZN isn’t just a US set up though. It’s available in several other large countries like Canada and Japan and the fight may well have generated additional subscribers in those countries.

If it was available in the U.K. id certainly sign up.

These streaming platforms take time to get rolling. It took years for Netflix to become the household staple that it is today. They've got rights to a broad range of sports across in a broad range of geographical markets. They start showing baseball in America next year. They've got a lot of money to play with and will, if all goes to plan, start hoovering up the biggest sports for the biggest markets but it will take time. 10 years from now they could be dominating.

It can definitely go sour pretty quickly though. Look at Eleven sports, bought up the rights to the UFC, La liga, Serie A, and now are going tits up.

That's not to say that DAZN will go the same way, but it's definitely precarious waters they're treading.

Very true, although they're unlikely to get their ROI if they continue to put fights like Canelo-fielding on.

I'm not hating on Rocky as it was a great opportunity for him, but let's be frank, it was a blatant mismatch from the offset.
