It's actually pretty common for abusive people, especially abusive parents to do it because of mental illness, and sadly pass on the suffering.
BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
But in BJS it's down to him being a deeply unpleasant person. Can't begin to imagine what kind of blight on society his son is going to turn out to be.
Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
his sons already going around nutting people and laughing at it
Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
Well, he was going to be a spoilt millionaire rich-kid blight on society, but his Dad appears to be sabotaging that one for him quite nicely.

He'll probably grow up and father several sprogs from different women and not pay a penny for any of them.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑16 Dec 2018, 14:52Well, he was going to be a spoilt millionaire rich-kid blight on society, but his Dad appears to be sabotaging that one for him quite nicely.
Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
He'll be ballooning up to 20 stone as a final 'please like me' gambit.
Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
Must be getting fashionable to have a mental health issue now
I've suffered for years and even last night before I went out I was climbing the walls with anxiety! It's a horrible thing to have to deal with. I have kids and I need to hide it from them which isn't easy either.
Fury is a massive inspiration to me. It might be a bit shallow taking faith from a celeb on the telly but I can relate to the guy and it genuinely gives me a bit of hope! BJS should clam up and just fight! This is a desperate grab at air time!

I don't help myself at times tbh. I drink too much and end up on the Coke but I'm gonna make an effort to sort that out. I'm nearly 35 and have kids to worry about. Would be easier if I didn't have to worry about myself

When your kids turn to you and say 'Dad we're proud of you for turning your life around' it will make you the happiest man around
Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
You already know the coke and drink will be worsening the situation and I hope you can power through and get past that. I am sure you will. From the limited interactions of a forum, one can tell from your tone and writing style and responses that you are a decent chap, so good luckStuarty wrote: ↑16 Dec 2018, 21:14Thanks for the kind words mateoogiebe wrote: ↑16 Dec 2018, 21:08Keep fighting through it Stu, it is at times seemingly impossible, but you're doing it! Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
I have friends and family who have struggled through depression, some have barely survived it (literally) and it is still a constant battle for others.
To hear BJS try to hijack the illness in a transparent attempt to become relevant makes my blood boil.

Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
It's beyond sickening, isn't it? The fact that the team at Fish Eyes HQ think it's acceptable is also beyond the pale. Not many are falling for it, seemingly. I just hope that strides in understanding of mental health problems, specifically within boxing, aren't undermined by gutter c***s like BJS using it excuse their disgusting behaviour.

Re: BJS jumping on the mental health bandwagon
This guy has become one of my most hated guys in the sport. Wasn't very hard. I think I might dislike this guy more than Fury even. At least Fury has SOME integrity it would seem. This guy is just a piece of sh*t on every level.

That's still an excuse that. Plenty of people get abused who don't go around bullying people.

Worse than depression, anxiety is. It's completely debilitating.Nondescript wrote: ↑17 Dec 2018, 17:28Anxiety when it's really peaking, is absolute torture.Stuarty wrote: ↑16 Dec 2018, 21:06 Must be getting fashionable to have a mental health issue now![]()

Yeah. For me the heart palpitations are the worst part. Feeling like you're about to have a heart attack is never a fun experience.oogiebe wrote: ↑17 Dec 2018, 17:29Worse than depression, anxiety is.
