Warrington could and can set a fast pace but Frampton is a sharp counter puncher and if he hits and hurts Josh early then he could settle in to a rhythm and dictate the fight. I think it'll be a battle and I think it'll be close. Frampton on a close decision but I'm not confident...

disagree, and reading back on forums i see loads of cards that had it like a 1 point fight going into the last, that wouldve had it a draw if qquigg won the 12th (the 12th frampton finally showed a late second wind).

frampton didnt clean sweep and clearly win the first 8 at all, and he really faded and slowed in the second half. imo very very easy to give quigg 5 of the last 6. the idea that frampton really 'won well' or 'pissed it' is laughable.. he was hurt too in the 11th actually

Fair enough. I had it 8- 4 to Frampton with him taking each of the first 6 rounds. Which in my mind is fairly straight forward.

Quigg won the second half of the fight which made it feel closer than it was.

On paper, you‘d have to go with Carl. He’s a proven elite level guy. It’s possible Carl has peaked and Josh has yet to peak. That’s all conjecture though.

Josh is gonna hit his peak this weekend.

Josh doesn’t think Carl was ever elite. I disagree with him on that one. I still think Carl in his prime.

Josh has height, length, less hard mileage, youth, and a full tilt motor. Many are touting his conditioning as the difference, that he will outwork and mug Frampton.

But Carl has been in with LSC’s engine and got the W. It was LSC who adjusted and won more on boxing and leveraging his length in the rematch.

I am fired up for this one. Warrington has a legit shot but he won’t get away with leaping in like he did with Selby. Frampton will turn and clip him, and step inside and counter with crisp combos.

I see it a close decision either way. Frampton will have to be on his full A game to get the W.

Never rated Josh at all, to me he just comes across as a trier. I thought he would lose to Martinez and Selby and got proved wrong both times. Frampton has showed vulnerabilities in a fair few fights and I think he's at that stage in his career where Josh's work rate will give him nightmares. For the first time I'm backing Warrington. God loves a trier

I really hope Carl wins, because while he’s game as they come, Joshs fights hold little suspense, because they are always the same - points win - so I’m going with the class and edge of Frampton to put Josh back in his place, and that’s European level

Its an intriguing one to be sure. I'm still not overly sold that Frampton should be at Feather. I do favour him, but I think Warrington is naturally the bigger man.

Frampton was coming undone against Quigg, and this was after bossing the first six rounds. He had a good 12th, and I think that was telling. He knew he needed it. The question for me is can he dig like that again if needed.

No doubt in my mind that Frampton won that fight though, but it was a tight one. I can't ignore the fact he looked as bad as he did in the later half of the fight. It was nothing to do with taking his foot off the gas either. Quigg picked his game up and Frampton struggled to stay with him. I think Frampton has slipped since then, which adds more fuel to the fire that warrington can outlast him.

On saying that Warrington had a big struggle with a shop worn Martinez and Amagasa made him work hard. I'm still sticking with a Warrington win.
