Is Joshua the best Heavyweight ever

Post by Wuuupa »

His technique is obviously not on the hemisphere of Ali, Louis or Tyson, even Povetkin was technicly superior to Aj. But he simply has Foreman kind of punching power, high speed and is tall and athletic and unlike Wilder Joshua can box and is not just a body builder with a strong punch.

If he defeats Wilder, Fury and Usyk - he might be among the top 5.

Good points except the Foreman comparison. AJ doesn't have that kind of power. He's more like Mercer, but a bit more thudding.

Top 5

He is much taller stronger than ali and louis, like a super heavyweight ag a heavyweight. In terms of record beating the best cw ever usyk and cleaning out the division reighing for a decade would put him up there with the axhievemants ali had.

Lets not forget, all so called atg top 3 hw had dark moments. Ali with his countless loses to norton (i know he got the gifts), marciano fighting 80% cab drivers same as louis.

He's better than vitali. Hilarious people think he's an atg with zero wins of note.

Anybody and his little brother can start a thread here, and they do.

Why are you surprised? We've seen that over and over again! Super-hyped AJ. It's really not even fair to him to make those comps.

Vitali lacks good wins on his resume but resume is not only thing that matters (though it's very important)

Much stronger than mercer. Mercer had power similat to tommy morrison or alexandre povetkin. Joshua has punching power with the best you can think of foreman, tua, shavers.

Aj often doesnt even put his whole body behind punches like mike tyson used to do, yet still his opponents all land on the canvas. When aj puts everything in 1 hook and lands than his punching power equals to the best punchers ever

Vitali has to be the most overrated fighter ever.

Unless you're 100% accurate with fight predictions, resume is all that matters. His is garbage for a topic like this. I'm not even going to bother with how laughable usyk is.

I personally feel AJ is the best out of the current crop. A showdown with Fury needs to happen to find out. With that said, it's too early for him to be put in a discussion for #1 atg.

Hey, 3 out of 6 are in my top 15. Aj maybe top 40, vitality might make top 50, I think I'd be comfortable sliding usyk in the top 500.

Old tyson and close to prime holyfield had no chance, barly won single rounds against lewis. Vitaly won rounds against lewis, lewis was breathless, vitaly took everything from lewis, arguably best chin ever. and vitaly wasnt even at his peak against lewis. The version that slaughtered saunders would be a nightmare for any heavyeright ever

Usyk is techniquly superior to ali. Gets punched less than ali and could equal alis punching power if he puts on extra muscle
