Gorman has some decent skills but lacks the punch to end fights. The fella he’s fighting wants out but Gorman lacks the punch to give him his out.

Cojanu literally has no ambition, ultimate spoiler. Never seen him in a good fight and probably never will

Nathan Gorman made a routine defence of his fringe title.
Cojanu provided little that worried Gorman throughout their clash and the referee, Mark Lyson, was busy having to break the pair up on numerous occasions.
But it went the distance and the three scoring judges at ringside turned in tallies of 119-109, 119-109 and 120-108.
Gorman, with the win, moves on to 15-0 with 11 early, while Cojanu slips to 16-5 with nine quick.

Gorman boxed well, good learning fight, 12 rounds under his belt with no sweat, works that lead left hook well, Cojanu is just such a fvcking sparring partner though, on the rare occasion he had a burst of punches he looked pretty good, those lefts to the body of Gorman were quality, he's just a whinger though and has no ambition
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Warrington vs. Carl Frampton -22 Decemer 2018
it always looked a 12 round fight from the second round.

Who's up next? Murray?
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Warrington vs. Carl Frampton -22 Decemer 2018
gorman needs to develop a more active jab. its the biggest key to creating openings on opponents like that. leading with those hooks can be offset a lot just be earmuffs and a negative approach.

Good matchup for Conlan this. He’s a top prospect.

Conlan winning all 5-1 for me, but Cunningham catching him occasionally with good shots

That last minute was better than anything beforehand, Conlan the clear winner but didn't look much special overall, just in cameos, good accuracy in the last round, Cunningham landed some clean shots himself and definitely steadied Conlan once or twice

Cunningham dug right in at the end there.
I like the look of Conlan, will defo need to tighten up against the next level but he is nice and loose a very good mover and very game.
He’ll provide us some good nights of boxing!

Despicable bit of PR there. using that little lads ill health to try and repair Saunders tarnished image. Do you think he would have been invited into the ring under any other circumstances. Promoters truly Think we are thick as pig shit
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Warrington vs. Carl Frampton -22 Decemer 2018
A decision win over Cajanu does nothing to inspire me to call Gorman a prospect.handsofstone wrote: ↑22 Dec 2018, 15:41 Gorman boxed well, good learning fight, 12 rounds under his belt with no sweat, works that lead left hook well, Cojanu is just such a fvcking sparring partner though, on the rare occasion he had a burst of punches he looked pretty good, those lefts to the body of Gorman were quality, he's just a whinger though and has no ambition
