Absolutely spectacular knockout by Whyte in the end but I was more impressed by Chisoras performance overall. Ignoring the likes of Joshua, Wilder and Fury. In my opinion, both Miller and Ortiz beat Whyte.

He's a good fighter, but he's a little short of the best in the division.

Incredible work rate by Chisora tonight.

You struggling with Del Boy though and you’re not good enough to fight Joshua.

Great tear up but I’m gutted because it means Joshua - Whyte
Chisora was up on 2 of the cards they said.
Absolutely shocked at that

Nothing more decisive than a bad knockout.

2 judges had Chisora ahead. 1 had Whyte ahead.. all by 1 point.

But that was a 10-8 round regardless

So Whyte would have been ahead after the fight.

I had Whyte wide. Can't understand the judging, really.

Somebody said I was foolish for wanting to watch this fight over Frampton-Warrington. I don't know how good Frampton vs Warrington turned out, but I have hard time imagining it was a better fight than this one. This was excellent stuff!

Yep. I kept hearing how that’s a trade fight.

This was guaranteed to be competitive and a tear up.

Hence why I think Joshua v Whyte is utterly pointless

i would hardly be surprised if whyte had his moments though. i mean eric molina and artur szpilka and gerald washington did.

would be a brutal finish though

I don't know about that. Wilder is a huge puncher, but he's not a great boxer, and leaves himself open to big shots. I'd definitely favor Wilder don't get me wrong, but I can see Whyte beating Wilder more than I can see Whyte beating Fury or Joshua.

Whyte earned another title shot. 100%. What happens then is irrelevant. What's that...nine straight since the loss? He earned it.

Bizarrely he was 96-95 x2 ahead and 95-96 against - even with the deductions.

Not even the same level as Ortiz, let alone Joshua. As I said in an earlier post, I don't think Whyte beats Miller

Not counting the second deduction though. Had the round finished, Whyte would have been ahead.

I’ve not seen the Whyte fight yet but I’t would take some doing to come close to how good the Warrington fight was.

Absolutely he has.
We can say he was lucky here and there, or well-matched or whatever - but he's beaten a string of respectable contenders.
He's clearly No. 4 in the world.

Good to watch too - I'm reasonably excited for AJ II :box:

Great fight, both guys gave it their all.

Whyte will definitely need better footwork to beat Joshua.
