Spot on, exactly how i scored the fight.

Was a close fight and as always the commentary influenced my original opinion slightly, but having watched it again i have it 115-112 for Hatton.

Must say though (as a massive Hatton fan) i wasn't impressed with him and gotta give credit to Collazo for that.

Still think he should avoid FMJ at all costs, who would be far too quick & slick but then FMJ would probably be just that for ANY boxer from up to welter.

Bring on Gatti, what a tear up that would be!

Can't remember the round for round but I had it to Collazo by a point. Agree with Stu if you look at the fight as a whole Collazo did the better work.

Not sure that welterweight is the place for Ricky. If I were him i'd move back down and aim for Cotto, Castillo/Corrales, Witter.

I didn't keep a proper scorecard, but I had it for Hatton by 1 round. Would like to watch it again when not under the influence of Alchohol to give it a better shot.

It was a good acheivement by ricky, moving up a weight, fighting a highly skilled champ with a bigger frame, more height and more reach. This combined with the fact he wasn't fighting away from home, makes it a good victory.

However, I would like to see him move down a weight and dominate there. Welter changes the dynamic of his fighting style too much, he looked just a bit too small to be in there with Collazo. But fair dos...he gave a good shot at smothering him and deserved the win, just.

Didn't do enough to win on points??? Boxing is making ur opponent miss and countering, . Collazo did that from round 4 onwards.... last round could of been 10-8...

Yeah, I was tired and well under the influence watching this fight. I didn't even attempt to score it but thought at the end it could have gone either way. Maybe that was because Collazo went from getting knocked down in the first round to being apparently on the verge of stopping Hatton in the last. I watched the 12th round again sober yesterday and thought Hatton was knocked down and got lucky to have it deemed a slip and get a few seconds to compose himself. He looked to be in real trouble. Watts commentary also added a lot of drama to what was going on.

Excellent fight and well worth staying up for.

I had it the same as the two judges 115-112 for Hatton. I can't praise Hatton enough for going to America and taking a tough slickster on like Collazo. The guts shown by both men was stirring stuff. It would make a great return.
