The National Police Gazette dated October 28th, 1893 reports that Jack Welch (ID #448983) knocked out Billy McCarthy of Kansas City in the fourth round of a finish bout that took place on the steamer "Park Bluff" near Quincy, IL on October 10th, 1893.
