Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
Very excited to hear that this is potentially in the works.
Styles make fights. I think Usky completely outboxes Big Baby.
Who you got in this one??

Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
Comprehensive boxing lesson for Miller. It might start slow, like Usyk did with Bellew, then once Usyk has the measure of Miller- expect him to eat a whole bunch of punches coming from angles he never sees. It will actually be a good chin check for Miller, seeing as his prior opponents haven't really tested him.
I'd watch it, but it ain't PPV![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)

Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
Presumably it's being talked about as chief support. Cruiserweight kingpin coming up and taking on a top 10 opponent is a pretty good support bout. Does seem very likely that Usyk makes Miller look very foolish but at least it's a proper sized heavyweight.KiwiRider wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 00:01 Comprehensive boxing lesson for Miller. Usyk would be an idiot if he starts his HW career with Miller.

I agree, he’ll outweigh him by about 75 pounds. He’s more than ready for a top 15 heavyweight but Jarrell has so much weight behind him.boxing_rocks wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 00:28 Usyk would be an idiot if he starts his HW career with Miller.
I’d advise the Parker fight tbh. Be a great co-main on a PPV.

More like 110 pounds. Miller wins his fights by hitting the body with the force of a truck, but Usyk will be an elusive ghost...but that being said, i think Usyk should start off at heavy with someone a bit lower down in the rankings, but what do i know, maybe he wants to go straight to the top, like Miller > Joshua, and maybe he can do it! I hope so.
Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
I think Miller is totally wrong for Usyk. He's just too freakin' big. Usyk is a massively more talented boxer but I don't think that will help him. He made Joe Joyce look like the Mummy in their WSB fight, but Joyce is comparatively slow of hand and foot, and he is not a volume puncher. Usyk was able to use his speed and skills to have him punching air. I've a feeling he would do the same to Wilder.
Miller though will be swarming him, shoving him around, bullying him with his enormous bulk and although not the hardest of hitters, Miller will throw a lot of them and to a man conceding at least 75 lbs in weight, those punches are going to feel hard enough. He's not going to avoid them like he did Joyce's because they will be coming in bunches.
Usyk will feel like he's trying to stop a freight train with a pea-shooter and Miller will just keep on coming.
I am conscious that I may be hopelessly overrating Miller but until he tests himself against someone a level or two above Washington, Wach, Duhaupas, Adamek, Dinu, we are never going to know just how effective (or not) he can be. Until then I'll continue to back my judgement.

Miller is underrated but let's not get carried away. Usyk should be able to outbox and land with enough authority. People already getting cold feet? Christ, have some confidence.

Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
Id love to see both in a big HW fight but i think Usyk vs Miller would be ugly as hell and do neither any good.
Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
That'd be a really interesting fight, and a ballsy first foray into the Heavyweight division for Usyk, but given the schedule he's had so far I can't say I'm surprised. He seems to legitimately want to test himself.

I think your over rating Miller, Slim.candyslim wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 04:18 I think Miller is totally wrong for Usyk. He's just too freakin' big. And it is fitting you mention Usyk Vs Joyce. That was before Usyk became a pro! Look how much he has improved since then, and now he is under the guidance of "Poppa Loma" he can only get better. Miller is basic, sure he pressures fighters, but he is also easy to hit. Usyk has the legs to sidestep Miller's primitive come forward offensive and counter the crap out of him.
I think it would play out like David Tua Vs Evander Holyfield.
Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
I guess, Usyk can finally expose Miller. Usyk can circle around Miller, who can only walk, he can outwork Miller from an appropriate distance, frustrate him with his speed and angles.
Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
You have also got to consider levels. Miller really hasn't fought anyone I consider decent. Usyk has top am wins and cleaned out the cruiserweight division.
Sure Miller has it all in size over Usyk, but he really isn't a proven puncher, he also hasn't has his chin tested. Uysk is and has.

Size wise, that would be like Bellew fighting Lara.

Finally! You guys are going to be surprised. Usyk will clean out this division. Love it for Usyk's first matchup.

Probably. And he'd most likely do the same thing to the other slow, overblown guys at the top of the HW ratings.
Props to Miller if he actually takes this fight, because I don't see any of the top rated HWs lining up to fight Usyk.

I'd bet money this fight doesn't happen
Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
True. Miller hasn't taken any risks so far, and given he is 2-4th in line for the big AJ payday, why would he?
Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
Can’t see it happening but both will fancy it.
Usyk beats seven shades of shit out of Miller. He’s going to light that fat lump up.

Re: Usyk v Miller Wembley main undercard
I cannot understand how anyone (and there's a few) who think Usyk will beat all these top HW's when the poor guy hasn't even moved up yet. How many great LHW and CW's in history tried and failed even though they were dominant in their respective divisions. I'm a huge fan of Usyk, but I have some concerns when he moves up. It's not going to be that easy.clopixolacuphase wrote: ↑24 Dec 2018, 19:03 Can’t see it happening but both will fancy it.

Hearn just had Whyte Chisora as a head line for a £20 PPV event, you think he'd make this fight on The undercard of an AJ fight,
, soppy bastards what do you think it is Christmas? FfS
