boxrec computer whizzes suddenly believing they are professors.....

firstly their 'mathematical' formula.....isn't accurate, but a mere excuse for them to attribute points on a button bashing basis, and then hope u don't call them on the formula because it looks complicated. As I say even with the relevant algebraic substitution the formula doesn't work....its mythical, like a unicorn.

fighters points and rankings change almost on a daily basis, when technically bouts worldwide don't occur daily.....another red flag.

the old system was less flawed, still poor though

so unless you know computer hackers like can Xu to milk points without fighting anyone, u have to be left to the subjective computer system that is boxrec

fighters work hard, its about equality, some fighters are ranked where they should be some arent...thats not right, and i think a better system needs to be implemented, thats my point......hopefully when boxrec hook u up, u can sort the ratings out accordingly :)

I can see how it could be frustrating. Case in point. Efe Ajagba beats an unbeaten Nick Jones who has 5 boxrec points and gains nothing.

However; he beats Curtis Harper, who lost by merely walking out of the ring at the opening bell and Efe gets 2 more BoxRec points. I'm sorry, but I cannot understand it.

Exactly problem is these guys doing the ratings think their system is faultless, when in reality there formula isnt accurate and doesnt gage for talent......it just feeds into the fact they dont really know the sport too well.....fightfax was a lot better
