Indeed Golovkin was boxing best kept secret till he got older, starting with 2015.
A very interesting video where I saw one of the best middleweights of our era. That was a young GGG eager to face the champions of that time in Martinez, Pirog, Sturm and Chavez Jr. Unfortunately GGG was avoided and ignored at that time where nobody didn't want to fight nobody in the middleweight division.

At that time Golovkin was humbling in sparrings (future)champs in Big Bear and at the Wild Card Gym.
