Also they should have an ‘upset’ if the year IMO.

Can't argue with any of the picks. I loved Brendan Ingle (RIP), but I don't know about inspirational award. Tyson Fury was pretty inspirational.

Other considerations:
UOTY: Navarrete over Dogboe

Pretty good list.
Seen better fights this year than GGG/Alvaroid though, but Ring Magazine is Fishnet Boy's bitch these days

Only real issue is fight. Im going Hurd/Lara. There was an insane round in saucedo/Lenny. They replayed it last week.

Looks like I missed it..

UPSET OF THE YEAR
Cristopher Rosales TKO 9 Daigo Higa

Can’t argue with that. Alvarez-Kovalev was a lesser type of Upset IMO.

Tanaka v Kimura was the best fight, by some margin. Glad to see it received recognition at least in other publications, namely a couple of writers from BS. I’m pretty sure Ring nominated it for round of the year. It was a really remarkable fight.

Yup best fight for me too! Loved the fact that it was legally streamed to the west in a raw format, no commentary just the fight...hopefully they do that with Tanaka Vs Taguchi too!...though I might be biased with that...
