it's a good list but i am not sure that Briedis will beat Glowacki (Mairis barely beat Gevor), if he loses to Krzysztof then Glowacki vs Dorticos and WBSS winner vs Gassiev would be still a good fights

Too much politics

Yes, far too much politics and far too many belts. Too many can, and do ignore each for years.

Still, 2019 has to be a great year. We should get to find out what Ortiz, Groves, GGG, Kovalev, Pacquiao, Brook and Khan have all got left.

Wilder, Whyte, Spence, Lomachenko, and Hurd
all bring action into the ring every time they fight.

I just hope they can space the fights a bit better. For the casual fan 2019 doesn't have to start in April, then resume in May and finish in September. The Wilder/ Fury and Whyte/Chisora fights all proved that.

Did cross my mind but would love to see GGG get a win over him, I know Golovkins a bit long in the tooth but BJS has had no momentum whatsoever so don’t know if he can retain his form, then again BJS will probably eat his way into the cruiserweight division by next year !

i mean ggg still fought close with canelo, hes hardly shot to sh!t and is still way better then david lemieux, who by the way he outboxed every bit as throughly as bjs did, it would be a good fight. hardly like bjs is some sort of super talent well beyond ggg, lets see how frilly joe does vs a top guy

I have a feeling that Gassiev is moving up to HW once his shoulder is healed. Dorticos is a bit below the other guys. (Glowack; Briedis; Gassiev; even Tabiti maybe).

I saw times when the 2016 version of GGG would have caught Canelo coming off the ropes a lot more than the 2018 version, who missed his jab and let Canelo slip past un tagged. BJS is a lot more slick on his feet than Canelo.

maybe hes slipped a bit but bjs still hasnt beat anyone near that level. lemieux is as limited as it gets for a contender and will flatter any top fighters, and it seems to be since that fight that bjs gets rated as some type of fantastically skilled boxer., but remember ggg himself never looked slicker than he did against lemieux. aside from lem bjs hasnt really ever shined imo.

I love how you guys love to disregard GGG’s two robberies. If he had his hands raised in both those fights like he should have then you wouldn’t say he slipped at all. 2 egregious decisions are what you base your opinions on. Ridiculous.
