Don't care one bit about Jones.
I see the same result every time.
Same here. Nunes is by far the better striker.

I like Bruce Buffer, always been a little envious of his job tbh.... i sure he gets a handy paycheck for looking sharp, sitting ringside and introducing a few fights around the world once a fortnight.

I do think its time for Rogan to bin the phrase "you shocked the world.....", it didnt bother me at first, but he seems pulls it out now with more and more regularity. Time to let that one go Joe.... its run its course

I think he and Fedor stand alone, with a bit of BJ Penn/GSP. Beating the overrated Gustafsson didn't make any difference.

At least an unarguable top 3 is Jones/Fedor/GSP. I just like BJ Penn for the natural, p4p position. BJ moving up and fighting close with Machida is some unheard of poo.

Sorry but got to disagree, was ben johnson the best 100m sprinter in 1988? He was for a few days then got banned,a proper ban not a few months.

Any fighter boxer or mma cheats then he should never fight again, jones is a piece of crap and shouldnt of even fought last night plus shots to the back of the head is illegal.

He should move up and have a roid fight with lesnar
PEDs or not, he's the best ever.

BTW, Bones would demolish Lesnar.
Brock would rag doll him and use him as a tooth pick, seriously tho i think cain would smash Jones . The best ever gotta be anderson silva or GSP,id go with the clean guy over a ped head all day long so for me GSP is TBE
But Anderson Silva is a piece of crap ped cheat. Do you watch mma?

It's worded pretty vaguely, but fair enough. I'd be shocked if any top modern athlete had never done anything. Especially fighters.

Nobody without bias can call Silva better than Jones. They're both complete pudenda and busted for peds. Jones has the far superior skill set and has been more dominant against better competition.

I think that Jones would beat Cormier at either weight to be honest. Whether he's enhanced or not, I believe that he's got Cormiers number.

That era of fighters quickly got undervalued. With GSP'S longevity, he was able to stay relevant among the rise of the TUF crowd, but Penn/Hughes just got dumped to the wayside. Hughes was a beast, Penn still to my eye is the most natural talent MMA has seen.

Yeah man, his wrestling was insane. Tito didn't have an easy time with him despite outweighing Hughes by who knows how much. Legendary shit.

Silva’s División was relatively weak back then. But so was Jones’ despite the big names, they were all past it and/or no longer on the drugs they had in Pride. With the exception of Cormier I don’t think Silva loses to anyone Jones fought. Except for maybe Machida, he would win the decision but everyone involved including us watching would be losers.

Penn was his own worst enemy though. Even now his skill set is better than 99% of people who are considered elite now. But not taking his diet seriously, fighting well above his ideal weight(with a bit of diet and weight cutting I’m sure he could’ve easily made 145 at his best, he was a chubby 167 against GSP), surrounding himself by yes men in Hawaii rather than training at a real gym with great trainers and training partners.

I would still probably consider Penn as the most naturally gifted fighter I’ve seen in MMA. Which I think was both his greatest asset and biggest problem.

He really was. To know what sort of person he was without reading his (terrible) autobiography, consider that he believes god made him have that accident because of what a pudendum he was previously.

Jones might be the greatest fornicate up we’ve seen in MMA and is probably a sociopath but Hughes bragged about torturing animals and laughing at their squeals. So fornicate him. pudendum.

Not so sure about that. His wresting was good but not elite, his ground game was pretty damn good though. His striking was pretty terrible so I’m not sure who of the elite in the WW division he beats at his best.

For instance pre-prime Silva at WW had better wins against both Newton and sakurai. He was dominant in the UFC at a time when a huge amount of the best talent wasn’t in the UFC.

Just watched Jones-Gus and Cyborg-Nunes. The cheek fight was expectedly a funny brawl. Jones-Gus went in a pretty expected fashion too. Gus is probably being worn down after all wars he had. Anyway he is a basic boxer, he could have used it more yesterday. His jab was poor, he tried to pressure Jones in the wrong way. What he was waiting for in the 3rd? That takedown? He won the 2nd, should have established the jab early in the 3rd to keep his dominance. Jones looked a bit rusty, but chose his moment well.

And talking about MMA all-time greatest it's Jones for sure. Best opposition, the most well-rounded skill-set. In those aspects he is definitely better, than both Silva and Fedor. Especially Fedor. Actually GSP was better, than those too. I nearly stopped watching MMA, but the likes of Jones is still making some interest remain.

Lesnar is the same. He shoots groundhogs with an automatic rifle for fun. I get immense satisfaction when I see someone beat the shit out of him. Anyone that kills animals for personal pleasure deserves any bad things that come their way imo.
