Johhny tapia v naseem hamed

I read in the Johnny tapia book a few years ago that he was lined up to fight Prince naseem but the fight never happened for one reason or another,I think tapia was nearing the end of his career when the fight was proposed,if they fought at that time Nas would have beat him,but a prime v prime fight how do you all see it ?
