That's a lot of bulk, as the article says, in a "short amount of time." I would be saddened to learn Mikey's on 'roids.

I was trying to post this earlier but work have blocked twitter. Let’s hope he doesn’t put too much muscle on, he might not be able to make Lightweight safely again. It’ll be another RJJ.. he’d have to settle for 140 or 147..
Re: Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia - March 16, 2018
If he beats Spence, he's the #1 WW in the world. At that point, I don't think anyone would care if he moves back down. At this point, I'd say he's too fargone. I wouldn't let him move back down to 135.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Jan 2019, 16:31I was trying to post this earlier but work have blocked twitter. Even against Easter he looked a little flabby. But looks like he’s puttin on some good muscle now. When he weighed 140 aswel, it just looked like he didn’t need to lose weight.Mexi-Box wrote: ↑02 Jan 2019, 16:50If he beats Spence, he's the #1 WW in the world. With his high altitude tent at training camp, I'll bet Garcia will look to set a hot pace. The problem is, it seems when Spence starts fast, it's a quick fight. Getting interesting!

I'm going with Garcia/UD.
Re: Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia - March 16, 2018
Errol Spence, he’s looked special - then the Brook fight happened. It was a grinding affair. Rather than special I’d refer to Spence as strong, very strong. Then the charlo fights happened. Minimal headmovement and straight line attacks. Those are Errol’s stablemates I believe. It’s not a foregone conclusion that Errol will knock the highly proficient Garcia out. Garcia will most likely out slick him however it’s also likely that Spence will seriously out strength him.
This is now interesting for me. A good fight. Both with considerable strengths and weaknesses.

Spence is very strong and durable. He turns up a great pace and pressure. But, I think Mikey can outsmart Errol. I see him outboxing Errol to a UD.lazboy wrote: ↑02 Jan 2019, 18:11 Errol Spence, he’s looked special - then the Brook fight happened. It was a grinding affair. You could be right. It’s a good fight. Was very strange but turned good.Impractical Poster wrote: ↑02 Jan 2019, 18:22Spence is very strong and durable. He turns up a great pace and pressure. Nah, Spence will walk Mikey down and stop him in the second half.

“He [Mikey] ain’t going to get where I’m trying to be at and where I’m trying to go,” Spence said to H Money about Mikey Garcia. In two weeks, [Mikey] got swoll and look like Kangaroo Jack on steroids.” lol
Mikey's body looks weird and somehow deformed after the muscle mass training. Anyway Mikey is in a win-win situation unless he gets badly damaged by Spence.

The four-fight pay-per-view card will also see unbeaten former super middleweight world champion David Benavidez taking on veteran contender J'Leon Love in a 10-round showdown, undefeated former 118-pound champion Luis Nery battling former champion McJoe Arroyo in a 10-round attraction and fan-favorite Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola facing unbeaten Jean Pierre Augustin for 10-rounds of action.
Tickets for this showdown, which is promoted by TGB Promotions and Ringstar Sports, are on sale now, and can be purchased at SeatGeek.com, the Official Ticketing Provider of AT&T Stadium.

On Tuesday, February 19, Spence and Garcia will square off at a press conference from AT&T Stadium where they will finally go toe-to-toe on March 16.

I must write it again. Still cannot believe this is real. In modern boxing, where champions avoiding each other, this guy just casually jump 2 divisions to face most dangerous man at that weight. If Mikey SOMEHOW manage to win this, hi will be P4P king for me.

Arreola's back on PPV. So happy.
I assume that Arreola now has his head on straight and is finally taking the sport seriously in his unending quest to become the first heavyweight champion of Mexican descent.
But this Kid Creole guy who Arreola fights, hails from Louisville, a city that bred several heavyweight champions.
Arreola has his work cut out for him.

What a putrid card.
Re: Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia - March 16, 2018
The bottom line is that Mikey has fought everyone in his brothers gym. He sparred continuously with Maidana in his fights with Floyd and AB while he was out of action.
I think that Mikey will be able to get 12 rounds in without being knocked out or down. It will come down to points and each round is going to be very technical and very tough to score. Anyone expecting this to be a slugfest will be very disappointed. It’s all about winning rounds in this one. From the 1st to last, it’s gonna come down to last 15 seconds.

Anyone picking Mikey to win just remember one thing. Keep it consistent and show the same energy when the fight is done. When Errol finishes beating the crap out of Mikey I don't want to hear any excuses about size or weight because Mikey is supposedly a threat to Errol. So given that Mikey is such a threat to Errol, when he loses the fight Errol should be given serious credit for the win, although I doubt that will happen. Anyone thinking Mikey is going to out box Spence or UD him over 12 rounds is in for a boxing lesson along with Mikey.
